I wouldn't chance going thru security wearing any device. TSA personnel have a boring job, which I suspect few of them like and they live for some excitement to come along. You may experience nothing when going thru or you may find yourself on the evening news. They are above the law and can do anything they want to you just like US Customs.

I just ran across an incident where a woman set off metal detectors and was discovered trying to board a plane in Greece wearing a chastity belt in 2004. I'm sure that it was an embarassment for her, but she was allowed to board the plane by an amused set of airport personel.

http://www.usatoday.com/travel/news/200 ... belt_x.htm

In this case, rather than what we discuss here, it appears to be something her husband "made" her put on to keep her from straying - a bad use for a chastity device.

I don't think that TSA would be as "bemused" by it as the Greeks were.

A couple of years ago I blogged a news item that a woman was made to remove her nipple rings because they were large enough to set off the detector.

If you have still think you can get through TSA with a chastity device check this out. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/07/1 ... 75767.html

This guy got checked and he didn't have a chastity device on. All he was packing in his crotch was a 13" dick!

I opt for manual screening when they're using the backscatter imagers.

But in the cases where they're using metal detectors, I've never set off the detectors, despite sporting a significant amount of metal (even while unlocked).

My husband has been traveling for over 20 years . Before we were married he was in an awful marriage so he traveled about 275 days a year with many flights so he has seen the TSA changes, Recently we discussed this issue of wearing the device through and no way with body scanners would I put him through this. On a recent trip we had purchased a leather corset and skirt. While it went through the scanner the noticed some metal that runs down the side and went through our bags not once but three times. The cb was in a case but being who they are they opened that also and made a scene about my corset. But this brings me to my next point place your device in a black case with no markings just in case they decide to look at it. We bring the plastic numbered locks so this doesn't set off the x-ray detector like the metal one would.
