Vastly Inconspicuous

Post by fuzzydunlop »

Are there ways or symbols that a keyholder can mark ownership that aren't necessarily obvious in vanlla circumstances? Like a collar that isn't too BDSM oriented? Most of the stuff I can think of involves the KH, like wearing the key.

How about coming up with a bracelet? Could be as inexpensive as the rubber style worn by people wanting to support a cause. Could also be something made from Stainless Steel (are you reading this MM & Steelworxx). If it wasn't to ostentatious I would wear one.
Happily secured since 4/2010 :-)
Have worn CB3000, CB6000s, MM Jail Bird & Watchful Mistress,
DHgate A271 & 273, DHgate Full Stainless Steel Belt & DHgate HT nub
Currently wearing A273

The wedding ring is funny, but doesn't totally capture the power dynamic we are looking for.

The collar manufacturing firm Eternity Collars offers a line of locking slave bracelets, in a variety of metals and finishes. This assortment of symbolic bracelets can be viewed as follows: http://www.eternitycollars.com/products/cuffs.html Each of these bracelets comes with two Allen wrenches and two locking screws, one of which is used to secure it on the wearer.
Previously wore CB6000s, Jail House, and MM Jail Bird. Currently wearing My-Steel Total System hip belt.

My wife bought me a silver choker chain for this purpose. At first I took it off when I slept or showered, but as things have progressed it has taken on more meaning and now it never comes off except when she takes it off me to polish it.

I have had people, (including her boss!) ask if it has special meaning because they notice that I wear it every day all the time and it is visible pretty much no matter what I wear. It is easy to just say it was a gift from her and most people accept that without a second thought.

Isn't what the OP is looking for the only thing that a chastity device truly provides?

A chastity device could provide that, but it certainly isn't the only way, and the device is something one might want to keep totally private. What if you were in a situation where it was maybe approprite or safe to give off signals of a power dynamic, but wanted to be a little bit subtle about it. She likes the idea of a collar that idea of an eternity collar.

I say an eye patch. They are so overwhelmingly Pirate that no one would think chastity. ;)

My wife bought a leash and collar from Petsmart (so much cheaper than any marketed "sex" collar) and I will often wear the collar all day. I take it off to shower since it is fabric, but I sleep with it and go out with it. It's not really inconspicuous, but it could inspire an idea.

I also have a bow tie that I wore during our wedding that will take the place of the collar when she wants a more "sophisticated butler" husband vs. a "naked slave boy/pet" type of husband. Ironically, I get more odd looks and questions about the bow tie than I do the dog collar.

To put some of this in context, my wife and I are both very goofy and playful people, so we have fun regardless of what we do. I think it is important to look for something that fits your personality and the relationship you have with your wife. For example, I could wear a "normal" necklace, but it is almost too boring for us and would defeat the purpose (again, for us).

Anyway, if the eye patch isn't your cup of tea, necklaces, bracelets, anklets, belt buckles, pins (on your shirts) or her initials shaved into your trimmed pubic hair are other ideas. Good luck.
