Has anyone had any experience with this AC630? I must say, it looks awesome.

Eveanne: As I understand it, Master Series CD's are being sold by Extreme Restraints, in an attempt to compete with Mature Metal in the Stainless Steel marketplace. However, just like the CB2000-3000-6000-6000s series of plastic CD's, the AC630 comes with four interchangeable base rings and one cage having a predetermined size. Accordingly, it can not be changed to fit the individual measurements of the wearer. As the cost of the AC630 is $239.00, I believe that you would be well advised to custom order a Stainless Steel device from a manufacturer such as Mature Metal, rather than invest that amount of money in an "off the rack" CD that may or may not fit properly after it arrives from Extreme Restraints.

I like what I can see of the design of the hinged rings and the thing looks cool as hell, but...
I don't like the idea of those little screws with the special key/driver- could be easy to lose, takes more time to install/remove, 'emergency key' is bulky can't be just slipped into a wallet and emergency removal could be problematic.
Gap size not adjustable- pull-out could be possible from sides (even with urethral insert?), security dependent on small size of ring which could present a significant (and painful) problem for 'growers'.
Gaps, especially at head end look too big- too much room which could lead to protrusion and pinching and/or sufficient stimulation to achieve orgasm.
It looks pretty but it's a relatively significant amount of money to spend for a device that appears to have this many flaws. Maybe they aren't as bad as they look, but money is pretty tight in this economy (for some of us at least) and I'm not prepared to throw more than two C-notes at something that might amount to little more than a decoration.

I agree, at first look it appears to be very secure. I would worry about a few things though. It says its "brushed stainless steel". So it's a metal device with a coating of stainless steel painted on. I would be concerned over time that the coating would come off. It also has a unique three hole screw lock. Unique for sure but with a good pair of needle nose pliers from my shop I bet I could be out of this in a matter of seconds.Eveanne wrote:Has anyone had any experience with this AC630? They are on sale from $350.00 to $239.00? My guess would be that they are having trouble selling them.
I also echo what Mike said regarding a MM device. The predetermined size of the cage and gap between the base ring and cage vs a custom made CD from MM or Steelworxx would tend to have me pass on this one.
Happily secured since 4/2010

Probably wouldn't even need the pliers, I'll bet a bent paperclip and a penny would do the trick.

TwistedMister: "A bent paperclip and a penny would do the trick?" That sounds like something out of McGiver! I would love to see how you would do that!

LOL, that's one of my wife's nicknames for me. I've been making things work with whatever was on-hand for a long time. I figured out how to get locks open with paperclips when I was 7- to get the answer sheets for tests out of the teacher's desk. But it only works on 3-tumbler locks (and handcuffs), 4 tumblers is a no-go (needs a little more sophisticated tool).Mike Bekoff wrote:TwistedMister: "A bent paperclip and a penny would do the trick?" Thanks for the feedback. The sale price makes it intriguing. Otherwise I will go for mature metals.
locked4her55: "Brushed stainless steel" is not a plating as you described. Chrome or chome plating is just that but brushed stainless refers to the finish of the steel. Basically it has that matte finish instead of the typical polished shiny finish. The brushed steel finish is produced by applying friction to the surface of the metal with a fine-bristled brush.

It's beautiful, anyone tried it yet?
