Thanks for the welcome. I'm new to this site but not new to male chastity. I'm on many of the other chastity sites as well under the same name.

To answer your question about sensitivity of the skin poking out between the bars, I have had that experience on occasion--especially the ridge of the glans will get that way sometimes. Nothing too extreme though. It just adds to the horniness, I think. My biggest issue was as I stated--chafing of the scrotum skin as it rubbed on the base ring. My scrotum usually sits high and tight so it's been an adjustment in that regard. Otherwise all is well with the JailBird. I wish I would have pruchased this cage a lot sooner.

I too agree that the rigidity of the metal cage is much better. I would add that the oval ring seems to help with circulation issues as well as the less overall bulk of the ring. It allows me to wear a smaller ring than I was wearing with the plastic device.
