Hi this is yet another Steelheart thread. I'm thinking about ordering one and just wanted to check a few measurements. I currently use a cb6000s. I fill it almost perfectly. Sometimes its (the tube) a shade long most of the time its filled nicely to the point where I can stand to pee no problem (I'm uncut as well). What overall size should I order? Ring size I use is the 45mm ring on the cb6ks although I can go smaller. A 45mm ring size on a fake cbzero is too big though...I can fit 2 fingers under it so I'm going to order a 42mm and a 40mm. 35mm tube size is big, 29mm seems too small. Does he do say a 32mm? As for the gap I use the smallest spacer on the cb6ks but I would like to go smaller down below... 15mm is standard but I'm thinking like 12mm. The other question I have is: does anyone have any experiences with the ergo A ring? Seems like it might be comfortable but am a bit reluctant because I have the saggy thing going on and I don't want the SH to hang 1/2 off all the time. This is why I want a tube size almost the same as my meat. So it doesn't hang down. Thanks in advance.

Steelheart questions
Re: Steelheart questions
Two rings is a really good idea. Have you worn a 42mm ring before? If not you might want to try that for a while. I don't remember what size rings come with the CB6000s. I would get one that I knew I could wear and one that is 2mm smaller.
I have a 31mm tube (wearing it now) and a couple of 35mm tubes. I think a 29mm tube would be really, really small. I am sure it is right for someone but I suspect that if you think it might be too small it probably is. The 35mm tube is a lot bigger than the 31mm tube. The 31mm tube will actually fit inside the 35mm tube. I have a picture of it but I am too lazy right now to find it to post, maybe later if there is interest. If you fill the CB6000 most of the time you will probably find the 35mm tube a better fit, you will fill the 31mm tube *all* of the time. There is never any room around the diameter of my 31mm tube. Personally I like it but others have problems with that snug of a fit.
I think that the standard gap on a steelheart is a little large. I had a problem with a nut popping out with a larger (44mm) ring and the smaller tube. With the 41mm ring it is not a problem. The gap dropped from a little over 16mm to about 13mm, that was much better. If it wasn't such a pain (and time consuming) to send things back and forth I would probably try to get the gap reduced a little more.
I have an anatomical ring and don't like it. The bend causes the gap to be too large. Not only does this make it less secure (read not at all) but it also causes a "crushing" effect on my nuts. Instead of trapping them it kind of squeezes them. Not pleasant. It is not secure because in the middle where the ring bends back the gap is just too large, I can rotate it and get a nut out no problem. Again, if time and money were not an obstacle I would love to try an anatomical ring that is smaller and has a much tighter gap. If anyone wants to fund a research project let me know, I would be happy to do a scientific study.
Having a tube size "almost the same as my meat" will help with hanging down. So will a smaller gap and smaller ring. I have a 40mm ring that has a 12mm gap. I might try that after I return from my trip. I am pretty sure I am approaching my limits for minimum size. The last time I tried it I had to get up around 4am to take it off. It has been a few months and is probably time to try again. I cannot go any smaller on the tube, I would not fit in a 29mm and as it is I am at the end of it most of the time. Nice to have finally settled down a bit.
I hope this helps a little. Feel free to ask specific questions. The more specific the question, the more specific the answer. Sorry for the rambling on this reply. I'm blaming the margarita.

Re: Steelheart questions
make sure the gap measurements u supply seperate the upper and lower gap sizes or he will make the whole thing with a 12mm gap, which will be too big
Re: Steelheart questions
ty for the advice and yes I have 2 questions.
What overall length should I order? I use a cb6000s not the regular cb6k. This whole overall length gets confusing. I would like the length to be about the same. Im guessing maybe 75 mm? That sound right?
Also what is the standard gap at the top?
Thanks

Re: Steelheart questions
When I got my first Steelheart (the one I am wearing now) I wanted it the same length as the jailbird I was wearing. That was a 2 1/4" tube. I told him I wanted the tube to be 57mm but didn't know the overall length. When I measure it now for overall length I get 76mm.Ryan wrote: What overall length should I order? I have no idea on the standard gap I have never specified anything. My gap problem was solved on its own when I went to a smaller ring.
