To all Key Holders,
One small suggestion for your safety.
The padlocks provided with most chastity devices are quite ordinary, and can be easily opened with duplicate similar size keys. My smart wife knows that I am technically quite sound, & will definitely try & open my lock. I’m locked in jailhouse cage. The day my device arrived, without my knowledge she purchased a 3 digit combination number lock. She told me to put the device on, and to my surprise, instead of the padlock she locked the cage with the combination lock! Now she does not have to safeguard the keys or worry about me escaping. I feel jealous about many chaste men who might be using duplicate key & cheat their KH. And so I thought to caution all Key Holders.

Re: Keyholder Thread
Linus, I moved this helpful bit of advice ("for your safety?" Seriously, dude?) because the Keyholder's Thread is for... Keyholders, and if you had read the first message, you'd have seen that they ask the (mostly men) to leave it that way.

A mechanical 3 digit-combination number lock (with 10 digits per dial) has per definition 1000 possible combinations. Even taking into account that mechanical combination locks are VERY insecure as you can easily open them by putting them under straind while turning the dials, you could try all 1000 combinations in the matter of some minutes...
I agree that the small padlocks are very insecure. Integrated locks like on the Steelworxx are a "bit" more secure.
The only real security for any device is a pre-numbered plastic security seal you have to destroy in order to open the device. This way you can tamper with the lock all you want. If you remove the device you will have to destroy the seal and the KH will know. You can not replace it because the number is pre-printed and unique on each seal.
