PA Piercing

Hey, we had never even really thought of it, but then he mentioned it last night. Got me thinking.....

Ok, a question for all you out there with a PA piercing or a SO with one. How bad is the pain, and is it worth it? It has always been one of those things that Jnuts ruled out, and I never really cared about one way or another. Well like everything else, we are now saying well maybe....

The pain is negligible, IMO. The piercing heals quickly, and relatively painlessly.

Ab & Dev, I felt my nipples were the most painful piercings EVER. My PA and Frenum piercings were little more than a momentary pinch. Nothing by comparison.

That said, I'm on the "bleeder" end of the scale. I had my PA done twice. The first one didn't heal well, and migrated. The second one healed great. Both of them bled profusely for about 2 days.

I'd recommend going for it! It's an easy, and relatively painful piercing.

What's messy? The PA? Maybe, I don't have one of those.

My tattoo wasn't messy and neither were my nipple rings. I love all of them. For each of them, it took a long time to make up my mind and get the courage, but once I did, I've never looked back. The only thing that is annoying is that I can only see my tattoo in the mirror! LOL.

This is right after it was done so it is still red. It looks all nice and lovely, now.

I suppose now's as good a time as any to say I've got an appointment this coming friday to get my very first tattoo. It's going to be on the inside of my right wrist.



That's a form of a triskle (or triskelion), a Celtic symbol that's been adopted by the BDSM community (though in a very different form). A friend of mine recently posted on Facebook this about tattoos:

"A tattoo is not about a meaning at a specific point in time, but rather a reflection of who you are at that time in your life. A tattoo is meant to be a way for you to look back at your life, and remember who you were, and reflect on how you've changed - just as the meaning of your tattoo will change as you go through life."

I really liked that. I feel there's been so much change in my life in the recent past and this will be my way of commemorating it. I like the tangental BDSM link since that's a part of me that's changed, but I also just like the shape.

Anyway, since we were on the subject of body mods and all...

Nice. Make sure to moisturize it frequently and liberally after it's done and put sunscreen on it when you are out in the sun.

Thumper is right I had one done recently. It didn't really hurt at the time, strong discomfort is a better description, and its very short lasting. Even afterwards its not bad, I cycled home ten miles that night. The first couple of pees sting though.

I am a bleeder too, maybe one or two in ten are. The first three days I bled lot. Most people hardly do at all. But its more of an annoyance since i was at work I needed to find a way to wear a suit. Tissues and a rubber glove sexy yes? Still no pain though, in fact apart from the odd twinge its been remarkably painless.

Stretching up to the next gauge, funnily enough, hurt more. Don't know why.

I love it, it looks cool and like how it feels. My wife can't feel it inside her which is good, I had to remove two previous piercings, not pas, as they caused her discomfort.

I would echo thumper, don't expect to use it for chastity soon. I tried at the 8 week mark and set myself back, so will give it till Christmas, that's three months. But think how good it will be when its ready, delayed gratification...

I have a bunch of posts on it if you have look at my blog, hope they are useful. Don't get put off by the hassle of the first few days, its not hard and its only a few days. Healing is much much quicker than nipples or navels, the area is very fast healing tissue.

Pain really isn't a problem, though its surprising to most people.
