OK. Would you please splain Lucy how a solid ring provides security?
If you can get into it, you can get out. I'm just not enough of a motorhead
to understand how a Solid Ring works. Even the website doesn't give enough
info as to fitting and securing.

What happens is after you place the ring on you place the cage on... the ring from the cage acts like a "lock" to trap your balls from coming back out of the ring... the "A" ring behind your balls and the cage ring in front of your balls.
This isn't really unique to the solid ring design, using the cb6ks is the same concept but instead of treading your testicles, you construct the ring.

I got the 3/8" gap thinking that would be too small considering I'm high and tight. I think the gap is fine and just the ring is too big.

Sorry I don't understand that measurement. I just ordered the PT from MM and I am hoping I did it right. My ring is 1 3/4 The gap is 3/8 and cage dia is 1 1/4 the lenght is 1 1/2 I have been in MC for about a year However all my devices have been home crafted.

The PT in this thread http://chastityforums.com/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=143 is 1 3/4" ring, 3/8" gap. The diameter varies between 1 1/8" and 1 1/4". The length is 2".

I will tell you it is very, very small. Yours is 1/2" shorter than that. How big is the home crafted device you are in now"

I'm not trying to talk you in to getting something bigger but I don't want you to make an expensive mistake either.

The ring is oval. I measured the longest diameter and the shortest diameter and averaged them. The average was the size I ordered.

My device I made is 2" in length 3/8 gap 1 3/8 dia cage and 1 3/4 ring
I made it smaller because I have a little room I am a grower for sure. I am also a bit over weight.So with the extra weight not much of me sticks out.

Do to my size and my weight I am always able to just slide the cage down my balls pull my self out and play. I wear it because I just need that little somthing extra to tell me NO. My worry is my balls sliping out between the ring and cage. Also during erections that I am not pulling to much on my balls with a shorter cage.
I also hope I am not making an expensive mistake.
