combination lock for a CB6000s?

Post by wettie »

I'm looking to see if any one has found a combination lock that works with a CB6000s? My wife has accepted (maybe even taken) to my chastity, but the hiding/retrieving of the key is always a bit of an inconvenience since she wont' wear it, and she always makes me unlock, where I figure that if it was a combo she would have to manually unlock me, and could without retrieving a key.

Of course if I am overlooking a good reason why this wouldn't work let me know.

Thanks

As a new owner / wearer of a CB-6000s in the same position starting out with my wife, I also investigated combi locks. I am UK based, but upon quickly checking one of our most common DIY stores (B&Q) I soon found this:
http://www.diy.com/nav/fix/hardware/sec ... mm-9284201

It's a 20mm lock with what appears to be a similar size loop to the stock product. I am thinking about picking one up - if I do I will let you know how it goes.

I see pro's and con's for combi's and key's though. Whilst a combi will allow the wife to be more hands on and more importantly allow emergency-escape (if required, for her peace of mind perhaps), the key also allows you to lock yourself and leave it for collection (such as if I goto work whilst she is on shift etc).

Keen to hear feedback from any existing combi owners.

Any luggage combination lock should work. If she wants cute, here's a link to a heart shaped 3 digit lock.

My wife hates messing with the key as well. So, we got a realtor type combination lock box. The key goes in the combination box. The realtor box has a combination that can be set and changed by my wife whenever she wants.

And, bonus, in an emergency, I can call her to get the combo...
