Hi everyone,
I heard a story this AM about a TSA employee getting fired for leaving a rude note in someone's luggage after discovering some sort of sex toy. I'm looking at a job change that will require some travel and the story made me wonder if anyone has any recent experiences with traveling while locked up.
I met someone recently who travels I his plastic device regularly. His approach is that he tells them exactly what it is when and if asked. He said he'd gotten some unnecessary questioning and attempts to embarrass him but had never been denied travel. Not sure I'm that (ahem) ballsy, but it is interesting that he's able to travel while locked.
Anyone else tried it?

Re: Traveling in chastity revisited
I thought I had heard somewhere that the body-scanners have difficulty picking up irregularly-shaped objects, such as round plates over the belly. I always wondered if that would apply to a cb-6000 as well, and I really wish I had the gumption to give it a try -- I have to travel, although infrequently, for business also. Most places I could get through just fine with a plastic tag lock, but I'm just a bit too apprehensive about the scanners.
On the other hand, the last time I came out of Manila, they had an attendant go through everyone's bag as you entered the terminal -- basically your bag was opened up in front of anyone who happened to be in line, as well as a small group of checkers, and they went through everything. I happened to have cracked my last device, and was carrying only the rings (I picked up another tube Stateside) -- I would have probably turned pretty red had they found the whole kit!

That's also a topic that I'm interested in. We have a trip to Mexico planned over the Christmas holidays, and I would like to wear either my CB device or buy a Birdlocked device to wear for the air travel.

Seriously, I think if you travel in a device you need to be prepared for the real possibility of discovery.
It's as simple as that. If you are willing to deal with explaining it, you'll likely be allowed to continue on your merry way. I am one of those people that is not willing to share my often chaste condition with strangers!
I don't travel as much as I used to, but do know that if they see something they cannot ID in a body scan they will do a pat down that runs up to, and including your scrotum. I am willing to bet that the more aggressive TSA agents will feel the cage when they run their hands up to your "junk". If they do, they will be required to investigate. While I really prefer to be locked when away from my wife, I'd rather go with the honor system then have to deal with all that TSA drama...but that's just me. Other men in chastity (and their wives!) may feel differently. I also realize that some wives may insist on it, and I guess those couples would have to weigh the pros and cons.

I used to travel in my CB3K and CB6K all the time without issues. But, that was before the enhanced scanners. Luckily I don't have to travel as much anymore.

In the United States I wouldn't fly with anything out of the normal. I picture myself as a TSA agent. Scan shows something strange in the crotch area. I ask what it is. You explain what a MCD is. Agent thinks to himself "Yeah Right", I'm not going to be the TSA agent who let the next underwear bomber through. At the least he is going to call in the FBI who are going to come with bomb sniffing dogs. Your best case scenerio is that you miss your flight and you have to catch a later flight. Much as we see this as harmless, anyone who flies with a MCD on in the US is asking for trouble.
Re: Traveling in chastity revisited
Agree!!They have a boring job and are just primed for a little excitement. Add that to an agency that basically can do whatever they want with no oversight, and you are asking for trouble. I would definitely not attempt to wear a device through security.cb6000s wrote:In the United States I wouldn't fly with anything out of the normal.

Re: Traveling in chastity revisited
I tend to skip the "locking my key in a safe" step and just rock a plastic lock when I travel, but yeah, this is about how I do it. Which works, and is probably the least amount of potential hassle possible...gungadn wrote:The best option we have come up with. Device in carry on through security.
Then, installed after going through security.
I have a key with me secured with a numbered plastic lock.
