Correct ring size?

Post by Paulie67 »

What is the correct ring size?

Is some discolouration acceptable with nocturnal erections as long as there is no pain and it is not purple or black? Is red ok?

I can fit a finger under the ring when I am not erect.

If you can fit a finger under the ring when not erect, that sounds about right with a good fit, and yes, nocturnal erections can be a little stressful :-)

Only caveat is that although OK for me, everyone is a little different anatomically.

I think I need to go up a size, I am using the smallest size 1 1/2 inch (38mm).

Definitely do what you think you need to.

I've experienced the discolored genitals when excited--I'm a grower--and it's been okay. I did not try to fit the smallest size--I think I was second largest ring, smallest spacer on my CB-6000. The downside of bad sizing is scary terrible. I recommend taking great care, especially if you don't have ready access to a key.

Hi Paulie,

IMO that sounds o.K.
I think the rings size/spacer combination is about right as long as you can't slip out easily while wearing is still fairly comfortable.

But NO discolouring of your balls, for instance. :!:

Well, of course, with a nighttime erection you could experience something like this,
but this shouldn't be kept up for any length of time, or the thing will have to go off to prevent permanent damage.

Greetings

Be aware that your body will change a bit over time and temperature. What might be a good fit in the summer may feel uncomfortable when it's cold out. Similarly, if it feels okay now, in a couple of months it might be a bit loose as your body adapts.

I changed to the next ring size up, it is much more comfortable, and no discolouring now.

Funny thing was, I was about to post about this, but all of my questions have been answered! Apparently I'm using the wrong size for my CB-2000, though the rest of the rings are 60 miles away and I intend to switch devices soon anyway... Hmm this is gonna take some consideration!

I think there should be a sticky for this question simply because it is a matter of safety and health. I correct fitting guide should be stickied so that this information can be found quickly and easily, it could of saved me a lot of effort and possible risks.... I am now suffering form an oedema issue because the first ring I had on for five days was too small. The problem was at night with nocturnal erections, by morning there would be oedema, it did not happen on the first night bat after 3 or so days it began. oedema in the morning which would clear up during the day and flare up at night with the nocturnal erections. I have a larger ring on but still have oedema every morning because of the previous rings damage. I am taking anti inflammatory medication and I am sure it will settle down in a few days. Hopefully I won't have to remove the device for it to settle down, time will tell.
