Possible Injury due to MCD?

First off, talk about real life getting in the way, I have been forced to take a break recently due the need for several visits to the Urologist.

The result of the visits are that I have a Urethral Stricture (basically a blockage of the urethra http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmedhealth/PMH0002251/). I will be having surgery (minor) next week to fix the blockage. So, my break from the MCD will be at least until after that heals up.

Sorry to hear about your problem. It does sound like this could be caused by being in a chastity device. In particular if you are aroused for an extended time while in the device. I would think that the band on the cage could cause pressure in the same way that a tumor could.

Be careful and pay attention to what your body is telling you.

I have experienced a slight narrowing and curve near the end of my penis when fully erect. Similar to peyronie's disease but I don't think that is what it is either. I don't know if it will affect having intercourse or not, I haven't been allowed to find out.

Thanks Atone. So, I will definately be careful after this is all fixed and it's possible to wear one again.

However, I find the lack of response encouraging. It must not be a common or known issue if nobody else has ever heard of a connection.

Can't remember what device you are using, but would you say that the cage is very, very snug and restrictive or is your shaft a little sore for a day after release? My new device is very snug and early am erections have, from time to time, made my shaft a little sore mostly on the underside. The soreness abates after several hours out of the device but I worry about a possible injury. I'm mismeasured the cage diameter and am considering reordering a larger diameter cage.

I now have a steel heart. But, I've only had it for a couple of weeks. The issue would have been back when I was in the CB6k. Or possibly even clear back with the CB3K model.

The stricture isn't actually right where the ring sits. It's further back. But, doesn't seem to be common at least. So, will just be careful...
