How long is too long?
Here is another way of asking an often debated question: How long (if ever) is too long? When I went 50 days, it seemed like too long because may sex drive calmed down substantially by then, and it coincided with a newborn, meaning Mrs. didn't have much of a drive either. It ended up being another 8 months or so before I was interested in chastity again. It all could have been life circumstances instead of duration.

I think the answer to that is based on a few factors. It obviously depends on how you personally react to being in chastity, regardless of anything else, however, there are some issues that are important to address.
Why are you choosing chastity? Kink? Lifestyle? etc? For us (my wife and I), too long would be when she wants to have sex and cannot. To be fair, even she gets denied for a few days, but after just that long, if she wants it, she gets it. Where as for some people, they go months at a time and even that is not long enough (my wife would never let that happen).
I think each person needs to ask themselves why they are locked up and in the spirit of that, is it their decision to release themselves, or another person's? Once you answer those questions, any time that exceeds the purview of those answers would be too long. If there is no limit, then there is no "too long."
