Everything is ready for the holiday in just over a week's time and actually only four more days of work as I'm taking the Monday off before we fly on the Tuesday.

I'm hoping to be out of the little shiny thing on that Monday too. A good clean up opportunity and then back into the Cobra. Less than a week in the little one and I'm already waiting for the changeover. There's no room at all in this thing and it's constantly tight.

First time abroad whilst caged. Not sure what to think about that. I suppose it'll be just like being locked at home but doing sightseeing and lazing on a beach instead. It's been made clear that I won't be unlocked until we get home. I guess I knew that anyway.

Lazy day today and bank holiday tomorrow anyway.

I am assuming that the non-metal Cobra will be locked in place for the flight as well. Miss Emmie isn't actually letting on one way or the other.

The bit she has confirmed is that it stays locked the whole time while we're there. I thought it would be nice to swim in the sea without it but that sounds unlikely.

Doesn’t the cobra have a standard brass cabinet lock though? Non ferrous but might still set off hand scanners? Im no expert though and maybe Miss E is happy for you to risk it!

It's the Cobra and you hardly know it's there anyway, Herbi, so why would we need to take it off to swim in the sea?

You just concentrate on topping up my sun cream at regular intervals. You'll need to go in the sea to cool off after that, won't you? You know I'll be topless like all the other women on the beach, don't you?

There's a little cylindrical lock yes. Looks like brass.

Only two more work days then it's the weekend, day off on Monday and flying on Tuesday! Ready to get away for some relaxation and a warmer climate.

Ready to get out of the little steel thing already. Can't believe I'm actually looking forward to getting back into the Cobra.

But get on with today first. Focus on the priorities. Coffee, satisfy Miss Emmie and get on with work. In that order.
