Adding pictures

Sorry if this is a daft question, but is there a simple way to add pictures direct from an android phone. I've tried all the tool icons but nothing worked for.me.

I did search but only found a 2018 thread which referred to adding them from a computer, but I'd prefer to cut out that step if possible

Click on Attachment then add files
