Tetherspouts - Any Feedback...?

Post by Therainking »

Hi all,

I'm looking into possibly using a tetherspout and wondering if anybody here actively/regularly uses one?

It looks like it's been 5+ years since it was really discussed here and would be great if there were some new perspectives on it.

We are looking for more security, and that generally seems to mean heading towards a PA piercing, but I'm not ready for that so looking for an in-between solution for now...

Any thoughts, good, bad or indifferent all greatly appreciated!

I’ve ordered a set from badassworkrooms. I’m still waiting on it and I’ll probably post about it when I’ve gotten to test it properly.

If it doesn’t live up to my expectations I’ll probably get a PA myself.

Thanks, keen to hear how you get on. How did you go about deciding on size?

I bought my tether spout gear from https://tetherproducts.com/Pages/TopTier/home.html. He was very helpful with sizing. I have a collection of various style sounds, one of which has a ball on one end that I can insert if I work at it and it is slightly painful upon removal. Using that as a guide he was able to determine the best size retainer parts for me. I bought one of nearly everything he had in stock as it looked like his inventory was getting depleted. I'm glad I did.

As for wearing a tetherspout, I've had mixed results installing it. Some times it comes together easily and other times it's a struggle in which case I give up and try again later.

I've had terrible luck finding a ball trap cage that fits properly, isn't painful and doesn't allow a testicle to escape. I finally tried using a tetherspout to hold a cage on without using the base ring. That was actually fairly successful. Unfortunately my wife is strictly vanilla so I haven't gotten her onboard with chastity yet, but hope springs eternal. When I do I expect that using a tetherspout to hold the cage on will be the way to go.

Thanks for that. Interesting to hear.

Do you think it could be less of a struggle/more predictable installing it if you had a slightly smaller diameter?

I'm the same, would like a ball trap cage that is more secure but also more comfortable so keen to explore tetherspouts.

I hope your wife comes round to the benefits of keeping you in a cage!

I don't think the sizing is the problem. It's more about alignment to fit the pieces together inside. I just haven't figured out a consistent technique. So far it's been trial and error but I think I'm getting closer to figuring out the best way. Like many things in life, practice makes perfect. I definitely need to find a quick and easy technique before involving my vanilla wife or it would permanently kill any hope of her involvement.

There is a tetherspout subreddit that has lots of useful information. I’d recommend checking that out.
