We've made it to February with the orgasm count for the year so far intact at zero. The average per month for 2025 therefore also stands at zero point zero zero.

With February being such a short month anyway, it hardly seems worth spoiling those nice round zeroes by unlocking for an orgasm does it?

Now that Herbi has had his treat, his first O of 2025, and is back in his nice little Cobra Nub, I can plan ahead.

Next release 1st April as long as he behaves himself. that's 46 days. Any days when he doesn't behave won't count, delaying that 1st April release. This will be a record for him in the Cobra.

It will make 12 x O during the full year of the trial. That's once a month.
Oh, heck, hang on. I've overdone it. Once a month is more than enough, isn't it?

Better news is that from 1st January until the end of the trial with just the one O (last night's one), means an average of just 0.33 for 2025. I said “less than 1.00” didn't I?

I hope he manages the next 6.5 weeks or 46 days without a change out of the Cobra. Happy for him to wear something different after that, up until our holiday at least.
I want him back in the Cobra in time for the holiday though.
Two weeks relaxing in a (hopefully) warm sunny climate. Lying on the beach and swimming in the sea. Nice food. Nice drinks. Sight-seeing and shopping. Walking the coastal path... Lovely to imagine and can't wait. First holiday abroad since Covid and first holiday with Herbi locked in his cage.

So the end of the trial anyway and I've told Herbi to prepare.
I want an essay (2000 words) in which he explains how the last year has gone. The good points, the not so good, what he's enjoyed, and what he hasn't.
A comparison of his cages would be good too.
But they are to be his own words. We can use it as the basis for our discussion during the review session.

Herbi is rather quiet today. Perhaps he's worn out after last night.
All our Saturday jobs are done anyway, and we're not going out anywhere.

I've just realised that I haven't written on here for almost two weeks.
Not since Herbi was Nubbed after his Valentine's Day treat.

I've not talked about his cage or his penis or anything about how it's going directly to him and he's not allowed to talk about it either unless there's a problem. So he's just having to put up with it in silence.
A new tactic.
He's not locked and forgotten though. He still gets teased, cuddled, etc.

He's 2 weeks into his 6 1/2 week Cobra stint.
I have to say he's being very good about it but I think it's getting to him now.
Waking up hard in the mornings but otherwise not very often, except when teased or pleasing me. And of course when Vikky was here on Tuesday. That got him hard!

This will be his longest spell in the Cobra Nub.
He has had two edges over the past 2 weeks. Maybe another one sometime but not yet I think.

Well, I've just about done it!
I said at the outset that I was determined to stick to the plan and give chastity a fair trial lasting a full year and in 14 day's time, that year will be up.

We will sit down and have a review.
Herbi will have written his essay about his experiences, what went well, what didn't, what he likes, what he doesn't. He's been told that he has to identify positives and negatives. I am sure it will be an interesting read.
I will complete my own essay and I've given myself similar objectives.

Without pre-empting the outcome of the review, or indeed the year's trial, I would say that things have gone pretty well. Settled with our 4 cages and Herbi has learnt to behave himself. I've learnt to take charge too and it's not too hard to be a dom, I've decided.

I have tried recently to just live the lifestyle and not be too analytical (no easy for me as I love numbers and stats).
However, I can't help sharing my delight in knowing that at the end of the trial (1 April 2024 – 31 March 2025) Herbi will have had only 12 orgasms, despite having four in the first month!
One a month – achieved!
I have reminded him that “Once a month is more than enough” though so he can expect less over the next year.

As well as our “chastity year” (April to March) we have the calendar year as well. So far in this calendar year, he's had one orgasm (on Valentine's Day). His average at the end of March in a few day's time, will be 0.33 and I think that's just great.

So on the home straight now. What fun it has been so far.

Serious question: I realise that the year long experiment has been successful but to truly make a decision, you do need to talk about it.
And you are both doing your essays and will have a conversation.
But, the one question you must put to each other (and within your own minds) is:
“Do I want to continue and what if the other person doesn’t?”
“Am I prepared to accept the answer No?” Will that cause a ruction in the relationship?
And the opposite of that - is one person happy with this intensity but what if the other wants to increase it?
I know you probably have thought about this but like all questions, until you are put on the spot, it often seems a no brainer. Suddenly there’s an unexpected development!
It’s between yourselves but if you stop posting on the forum, we can probably make a guess!
Anyway, enjoy the end of year one, best wishes for the conversation.
