We are playing with orgasm denial and have a "technical" question.
I've read that after I cum, the level of prolactin increases (the anti-love hormone) which suppresses the oxytocin (love hormone) for about 18 -21 days
before the oxytocin comes back to optimum levels. This is sometimes referred to as Orgasm Control.
Some books suggest that 21 days is the optimum time to go without an orgasm. (I've never gone longer than 4 days so far)
My question is;
If I edge myself for the first 7 days after the initial orgasm, will my oxytocin levels return faster, and since I'm not orgasming, will there will be no release of prolactin?
This is my goal; to allow to be caged for 7 days, with plenty of teasing and edging from my wife, before I'm allowed to cum.
Is anyone using the 7 day "release" cycle or do you find you need to go 18 - 21 days to get the full "attitude adjustment" benefits?

Its an easy path to get started on. Not as full on in a head fuck way.
It was come weekly, edge mid week.
After we got used to that. It went to two weeks, then three.
Taken out and edges more, but come less.

I don't know what you're reading, but that sounds like bullshit to me. When I was [much] younger, I was good for 6 or 7 times a day with no 'drop'. When I first met the chick who would eventually become my wife, if I was going to see her and knew we were going to be getting it on, I'd rub out a quick one before I left the house just so I wouldn't be too quick on the trigger when I got there. Things have changed with age, of course.

I think you just have to work out what works best for you. For a while, my wife had me on a cycle of only caged ruins every 3 months, no 'drop' at all. I had never heard of such a cycle until I read this, and certainly have never experienced it. Like Twistedmistser in the early days we would have PIV sex 6-7 times a day at weekends and the moment we got home from.work, then kids arrived and it became ad hoc, when the moment presented itself, certainly never a cycle and never preplanned to a schedule.
