It ain't no thang. Honestly, it's probably just as much (or, maybe, 20% more at worst) work to keep your curve clean (once you start wearing it days on end).

Finally got girls to bed and we were able to experiment with sizing rings. He will be doing some final measurements for length again throughout the day tomorrow, but it looks like we are at 1 7/8 for the ring, length 2 1/4(he measures that and 2 3/4) and diameter of 1 1/4. We will be ordering tomorrow night when he gets home from work!

The other measurement you need to consider is the gap. 3/8" seems to be what most people order. Ab's Jailbird is 1/4". Bill at MM tells me this is an easy fix if you guess too large or too small but of course, that means sending it back to be fixed so you want to try to get it right the first time.

People say you want the smallest gap possible for comfort (but obviously, too small will be uncomfortable). Ab's JB, overall, is a little bit smaller than the measurements you've posted so I am wondering if the 3/8" gap would be right for you? Maybe others will chime in with their experiences.

If you all don't stop ordering these things from him mine won't ever get made. He must be keeping really busy these days.

I would take the time to sit down again on another day and experiment with the rings again. It is good to have measurement under various conditions and times of day. It will be locked on for a long time, no need to rush the first day too much. And like Dev said, some changes can be made but it takes a while to send it back, better to get it right the first time.

A, he's probably working on Thumper's with the extra little bar for the PA fixing. If that works, a whole new market will open up to Mr. MM. Your Pet Trap and my Watchful Mistress are probably way, way down on his list. That's okay, Ab is not getting out of the JB until the WM arrives so the longer the better... ;) ;) ;)

How snug should the ring be? I wore the 1 7/8 for about 20 minutes and it started to burn the underside of my scrotum. I switched to the 2" ring and slept all night in it will little to no discomfort. Im going to try wearing the 1 7/8 to work today but take the 2" just in case. People have said to order one size smaller than you think so Im guessing the 1 7/8 would be correct?

The other measurements ive been doing for about a week so im pretty confident there. Gap size i really have no clue. Im fairly high and tight so according to the MM site, probably 1/2".

There are so many variable that I think it is different for everyone. You will also adapt over time.

I really like snug but what does that even mean? For me the base ring is small enough to allow a full erection with the ability to just poke the end of my pinkie between skin and ring. This is then fairly loose when completely flaccid.

For the cage I have contact with the rings and the bars all the time. I really like this, it is very comfortable and nothing moves around much. My larger cage there was a gap when flaccid and things shifted more.

For my body the smaller gap really helps keep everything up tight when I am flaccid. If the gap is too big everything kind of 'slides' down. Not only do I find this uncomfortable but it can be downright painful if I attempt an erection like this.

I know none of that is very specific, sorry. I guess if I was going to err though I would want to be a little on the short side but not on the diameter. That is why the new device that I have ordered is going to actually have two different diameters. The 'head' area is going to be 1/8" larger than the opening. I am also going 1/4" shorter overall.

good luck and keep asking questions.

For me, the 2" ring doesn't have any room when I'm erect, but when everything is relaxed, it seems a little roomy. So I tried the 1 7/8", and noticed veins popping up on my sack, decreased circulation is extremely not good.

Shifting eventually leads to chafing. Something I'm looking forward to with the JB - I think the extra head room in the CB is well intentioned, but doesn't really work that well in the long run. Perhaps if it were gradual, like what you ordered.

That's me, too. I went with the 1/4" gap. For someone new, I'd go with 3/8". That's one of the really handy things about the plastic devices - you can switch the gap out easily and try it. I wasn't sure that 1/4" would work, tried it, helped.

I agree with that -
