Hello there,
We’ve had performance challenges in the first week of May. This is due to increased traffic and a quirk of our current host. We will respond to this with a hosting move, which is “upcoming” for some value of “upcoming” - I’d like to combine the move with an OS / forum version change, and to that end am waiting and watching that forum release activity.
Performance has been okay this past week. If it gets bad again and we have to move sooner, so be it.
I haven’t had traffic statistic breakdowns until a week ago. Now that I do, I notice we get almost as many visitors from Singapore as we do from the US. I don’t know whether that’s a new development, but if it is: Welcome. Don’t be shy.

We're still talking really small numbers in absolute terms: 300-400 people an hour worldwide see this forum. We're not exactly "tapping" the US population.
