Guardian anti-pullout device experiences?

Hi felllow happily caging couples.
I just got one of these to use on my MaleChastityNow Amicus cage to prevent my head from being able to be pulled out when slick.

It seemed to work well, but I need to put in different length pins so they will hold more securely.
Those little suckers are very difficult to slide into the hole once the previous one is removed.

Have any of you had experience with adjusting/modifying these add-ons?
