I was wondering if anyone practices chastity because of underlying health issues, and it takes the pressure off the sex life, and/or allows an “alternative” sex life.
I am really confused by another couple that is having trouble with sex life. They haven’t had sex in a very long time. Wife finally demanded he go down, and supposedly did a great job. But she was also upset he didn’t get a boner. There’s reason to believe that he has had trouble with depresssion and/or some physical issues.
I get that she wants the physical response, but being more flexible would be a step forward.

Re: Health issues/ED
I was experiencing some ED problems before we started in my chastity but that wasn't the reason for starting. I think most of my problems were mental/emotional. I have a prescription for Viagra but, after last night and a few other tease sessions, I'm not sure I really need it.
Kitten does have me please her orally often but I am usually caged so any attempt at an erection is not important to her. Amusing sometimes, but not important! For me, I enjoy seeing her happy and satisfied. My own lack of physical release/pleasure does not change that at all or matter to me.

I went on a light dose of blood pressure medicine last spring. I still get hard yes, but nothing like before.
If my blood pressure needs more medicine they might as well write another script for viagra

On Fuzzy's OP, I can't think of a medical condition that would be helped by caging - or a doctor who would endorse it for that matter. I do it for fun, for the excitement of engaging in my kink, and for the occasional panics when there's a chance of discovery.
On your friends, they need to talk; he sounds like he's under pressure to perform which is the last thing he'll need.

Re: Health issues/ED
I am on anxiety and depression and blood pressure meds. I have a harder time finishing and staying hard than I used to. But I find chastity does actually help to a degree. When I’m free I’m much more sensitive and the days of foreplay definitely make things more enjoyable. I haven’t cum in over a month so I can say if it’ll make that much easier but she has accidentally pushed me over the edge before; and that’s saying a lot since there were days I could barely force myself over the edge on my own.
And since it’s a lot mental more than physical and the cage being a kink/fantasy of mine I think it helps me stay in the moment. I’m no longer humping my woman trying to think of some awesome porn to push me over The edge. I’m living the porn and trying NOT to go over the edge.
So I’m my non doctoral opinion I’d say if it’s mental it could help. If it’s physical it probably wouldn’t

I'm on Losartan for BP control, no issues with erections. Talk to your Doc about getting something else if what you are taking is causing issues.

Bystolic and losartan. Neither seems to affect my sex life. But the Prozac for sure.
Re: Health issues/ED
I take meds for all 3 also. Like TwistedMister said, the Losartan doesn't cause any problems. Even though I'm a woman, the combination of the anxiety & depression meds makes me a bit lethargic, which is no help in the sex department. I pretty much solved that by staggering those 2 meds ... ie: I take anxiety meds morning & night with depression med in the middle of the day. I don't know if that would work for you, but it helps me.Critter228 wrote: ↑Thu Sep 27, 2018 10:03 am I am on anxiety and depression and blood pressure meds.
