Someone (Tom Allen, I think) recommended an A272 from AliExpress. Since it was only $13, I took the plunge and ordered one. The one I got appears to be well made, though a bit long (1/2 shorter would be perfect). Other than that, I am pleased with the fit and finish. However, the bar configuration appears to have changed from the one shown on their site. Instead of the more open design that would allow for using urinals and more teasing while locked, it shipped as shown on the attachment. I did find one on ebay that is a bit shorter and more open, and one that will require seated urination. I might try these for variety.

Finally, comfort... the integrated lock and the contoured ring are very nice. Much more comfortable than a simple ring and a padlock that sometimes pinches.

That style is a common one, and goes by another number. I think they shipped the wrong thing by mistake.

The dealer or reseller HappyGo has an A271, which is a slightly shorter version, and the A277, which appears to be similar to what you received.

I would not be very happy with what they sent you. Having to pee in that would be very frustrating for me.

I purchased this awhile back from DHgate and I could not be any happier. While lighter in weight than my Mature Metal devices the fit is perfect and very comfortable to wear. It looks as good now as the day I received it. I also feel more "secure" in it than any other CD I've ever worn.

This model is elsewhere called the A271, the shorter brother to the A272. It's the open cage tip and solid tube that makes it a really comfortable model. The ring version (A274) caused me severe edema and swelling out of the rings.

FWIW MsM has me in the shortest version of the A274 and i find it's fantastic, no problems like Toms BUT the very short version only has one ring which may be why.

I hadn't thought about that, but you could be correct. The A274 is about as long as the A272, and allowed for a partial erection, and that means the skin swells up outside the diameter of the cage. I was disappointed, because I really like it.
