Sorry Twisted, but I think you did come on a bit strong, I know we get all sorts here, and as a moderator you have the unenviable task of keeping the site clear of undesirables. Perhaps you saw differently but he appeared genuine to me, letting us know his real name in his username was probably evidence enough that he was OK.

This struck me as a simple case of misunderstanding (in both directions). As Dukestoy says, "I hate it when that happens".

So David, if you are still lurking, please come out, you're amongst friends.

FWIW it's worth i'm solidly on Twisted side of the fence. After a badly worded first post (if he had posted before i hadn't seen it) rather than saying "sorry I worded that badly" to Twisted he gets "verbal" with a long standing member and moderator and all "holier than thou". When in a new forum you should at least have the sense to follow the rules and consider where any comments are coming from !!! As a moderator on an unrelated forum i can certainly see it from Twisted's perspective and am 100% with him. Anybody who hasn't been a forum moderator has any idea of the rubbish they sort out for you !!
