Any feedback on the Bon 4?

I am considering getting a BON4. I want to try a unit with a hinged base ring (I know the downsides but there's a big incentive). And that seems to be the best one with a hinged base ring.

Steeleworks has them too, but all their devices require a PA or have a tube that goes in the uretha, both of which I am not willing to do.

I'm thinking that may be *my* next purchase as well. The hinge doesn't look too bad, and the rings seem to be fairly wide...although I think that the edges could stand to be a little more rounded.

I haven't had enough coffee yet to get my head around the weight conversion though... .23kg to ounces? A little less than ten ounces?

8.1 ounces. I'm no conversion savant, just know a great website. You can convert anything there.

LOL, thanks, bookmarked (on this machine anyway). I suck at math but I know how the conversions are supposed to go and I can usually guesstimate close enough...if I have enough java in me.

Just for perspective, the CBXXXX devices weigh about 3 oz. The Bond Stainless is half a a pound. That's a lot of junk on your junk. My Fort weighs 12 oz, and I can't wear it unless I've got snug, supportive underwear.

BTW, I just round things in my head to 30 grams per ounce to make the math easier.

Ya, I usually do some sort of rounding, "less than 10 ounces" was close enough at the point in the day when I can barely remember my name (and say it intelligibly).

8oz might be doable...funny, when I was a little kid I had a 'thing' for tying a pair of sneakers around my junk and letting them hang there...dunno why, I was too young to get a stiffie at the time but for some strange reason I liked doing it...have to wonder if that has any relationship to my kink for 'chastity devices' and CBT...I would think that it might...

My feedback is that they are too heavy for my taste. I wore mine for about 2 weeks before I decided to stop buying off the shelf devices and go custom. Big difference for me since my Jailbird fits me like a glove. I had bought so many off the shelf and Chinese knock offs that they cost more than if I had bought the Jailbird early on. I did not like the BON4. Big, heavy and clunky. After a few days the top of my penis was sore from the weight.

I just bought a used one from someone on this forum. It was in excellent original condition but I have been working on modifying it a little. First of all, it's just a little small in diameter and the entry to the cage is pretty sharp at the bottom. So I used a dremel to enlarge and round off the cage opening at the bottom. I also filed off the "bon4" logo. Then I used a sanding attachment in my dremel tool to clean up the edges on the inside, and round off the edges of the ring. Then I polished it. It looks a hundred times better, but there are still a few scratches I need to sand out and polish again. Once it's done, I'll post a few pics. I also shortened my own queens keep, which I'll also post.
