Lock Types.

Post by Ospray »

I know there is some honor system in most ball trap devices (i.e. the pull out) which I am fine with, but I have resencly figure out that even with the most basic lock-pick and almost no skill I can pick open the brass master lock that came with my CB-3000...which ruins the fantasy for quite a bit...so I started looking for something better, even the most basic pick resistant lock would probably work, or maybe a combo lock that is resettable... I just want to know that if I give my keys to my holder that I can't at least get the lock open. Any thoughts would be great! Thank you

If you already know you can slip out why bother with the lock?

Anyways, try using a plastic numbered lock and have her record the number for verification.

I ordered a set of 4 small master locks from Amazon. They all use the same key. One is on my cage, and two more are for the restraints. That way she only has to hold one key. I've never tried to pick the lock so I don't know if it's as secure as you would like, but it does look more secure than the brass one that came with CB.

So Locked by LRC, I know that I can pull out but I can't put it back in without taking the cage off, so if I can too easily pick the lock then I may not ware one at all, and I really do like the idea of something I cant get off with out the HK permission. Plastic ones are great but I was hoping for something more lasting and something I only had to buy once.
