Come now. . . try it, you'll like it. :D

The WM is now my full time device. I find it a very nice cross between the openness of the JB to the restrictiveness of the Steelheart.
Happily secured since 4/2010 :-)

This morning, I used an exacto knife to carefully trim down that cursed bump at the top of the tube. I then used increasingly higher grades of water paper to smooth it, and the rest of the inside of the tube (as there was a seam that was bothering me). What a difference in comfort. :) Also, the seam had left a slight edge on the bottom of the tube, and I wonder now if that was causing some irritation, too.

The downside is that I have the HTv2 Clear, and it's really tough to buff out the inside of the tube after sanding, even with 2000 water paper, it was not a shine. I tried buffing compound and my dremel, too. I never expected to get it back to a gloss, but I was hopeful. :)

I didn't say I didn't like it... Just that it wasn't always possible. :)

That's good feedback. How do you find the cleaning?

A little more work than the JB but not much.

Picked up a package of foam swabs and found they worked great.

Just a followup... Taking that lip off the tube helped immensely. No more digging into the top of my shaft. I've switched to using silicone lube, instead of the stocking method, and that has made things more comfortable, too.

Waiting for my cheap metal cages to arrive to test fit and wear. Depending on what I learn from them, I'll order a Contender or a WM and relegate the HTv2 to a backup device.

A bit of an update... First off, the silicone lube makes a HUGE difference. I've worn the HTv2 for 5 days and nights, taking it off only once to wash things up. Only minor skin irritation to report. It hasn't solved my urination problem, unfortunately.

That said, I recently got one of these: http://www.ebay.ca/itm/261982504146 (S403). A few observations, compared to my HTv2.

The Good:

- The width of the cage is much bigger. I can urinate freely, without having to strain, even with moderate arousal.
- The device is WAY easier to clean. It's open design means that I don't have to do odd Cirque du Soleil tricks with the shower head.
- The weight of the device doesn't bother me at all.

The Bad:

- As others have said, I don't "stick" to the metal. Therefore, it is way easier to come out of the cage. I can imagine that this would happen by accident eventually.
- As provided, the angle of the pin is too high, and it was trivial to completely slip out of the device. I managed to pull out the top at which point it was trivial to sneak both berries out. I fixed this problem with a 2.5lb sledge hammer. :)
- The cage is too long. When soft, I only fill half to 2/3rds. I'm wondering if a double-ring will be necessary for me to use a metal device?
- Mrs. Wolf doesn't like it. Her initial reaction is: "The plastic device is a fun game. The metal one is more Red Room of Pain" She said that she reserves the right to change her opinion, but that's how it is at the moment. :)

I have another Chinese device on its way, this one here: http://www.ebay.ca/itm/331612361225 which is an "A080". Looks like a looker clone. No idea if she will like it any better, but it should give me some better ideas about fit.

All in all, I think that I would buy another HT (v3), if they made the tube a few mm wider, and found a way to fix the flex problem with the ring/tube connection point.
