What are the meaning of the various topic icons in used on this board? is there a list?
The FAQ just mentions they exist and that some members can choose what to use for their threads, but I assume most of them are just assigned by the moderators.

The topic icons appear at the top of the original post (not the comments).
There isn't a menu that covers it, but the fire one is used for a post that's potentially "hot" (controversial), the star is a reminder or highlight, the smilie face is for something humorous, etc.
