need help on finding a device

Post by chunkylover »

I bought one of the cheap knockoffs of a cb6000 i have to find something different this one just isnt working no matter what i do to it. When im flacid i can get pretty small and i barely even fill the cage. When i do get fully erect im a good 6" and fairly thick....not quite sure on actual size of girth ( never measured ). I find throughout the day depending on what my members size feels like being at that particular moment i can fill the cage to end. But when im with my wife and she has me turned on erections are super painful and i wont reach the end of the tube cause my girth gets stuck on the sides and my cock turns white lol. Night time erections are painful as well, because of the same problem. Should my cage be full when im flacid and at my smallest? The cage should be preventing erections and growth right?

I see this guys modded cage for sale im thinking this may work. When im soft and at my smallest id probably be squished in this xs small cage. And it should prevent any erection. Or am i way off base here?

I checked out the jailbird website and have no idea where to start at for sizing plus the 350$ pricetag is a little pricey for me right now. I already wasted 180$ on a bon4 which is terrible, and 30$ on the cb6000 knockoff.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Edit* ive also heard people complaining about irritation around the balls from the rings and a 12mm id surgical tube slipped over it helps. Ive tried finding this stuff and cant find anything over a 9mm id. Anyone know where to order this surgical tube from, that would fit over the cb rings?

No matter the device, attempting an erection would always be somewhat painful. Isn't that the point?

If you want to minimize the pain, I would suggest getting a device with no sharp edges. Something like a jailbird, which is metal and almost all parts are oval, so no edges.

I've got a cb6000 and I think it's drawback is exactly how the model is made, having sharp edges (90 degree edges). Although I'm pretty used to it, I still experience pain, from time to time, when trying to get an erection, or just sitting in an uncomfortable position. The other drawback of a plastic device is they are not very firm. I've split mine, during sleep, getting a morning erection, due to the fact it's a union of two sides, instead of a full, one part item.

Most people suggest getting a device that is just a little bit shorter than your member's length while flaccid. But as a new user, I would suggest using a bigger one, just to get used to wearing the device. You can always switch to a smaller one later.

You sound similar in size/growth to me. I have the old-style CB3000. I had the same 'sticking' problem- I started using baby oil (applied with a q-tip) which worked to solve it, now I use a silicone-based lube (lasts longer and doesn't get 'funky' as quickly).

If/when I get super 'worked up' when being teased or pleasuring her there is some discomfort, less with larger rings, more with smaller rings...but that is just part of the 'fun'. Nocturnal erections can sometimes be uncomfortable as well, but mostly, they aren't as bad as the once were, it took some getting used to.

I suspect that a large part of your problem is the fact that you are using a 'knock-off'. There have been a number of reports on the [excessive] amount of pain these things cause because of the cheap construction, sharp edges and grooves. I think that much of your issue would be mitigated by the use of a genuine CB-x device (which will set you back $140-$160, depending on where you purchase it), use of a good quality lube inside the 'cage' (and under the ring, at night), and some experimentation with sizing (rings, spacers).

I don't have any experience with the CB6ks, or the super-short modded one you mentioned, so I can't say what (if anything) they might do for you.

I was never given to understand that the cage would "prevent" erections/growth, merely restrict them. During [attempted] erections, there is a portion which becomes swollen *behind* the ring, and I would expect this to occur no matter how short the cage might be, so the idea of completely preventing erection may be unrealistic.

The partial but restricted erection, and the discomfort that goes with it, is part of the eroticism for me (I'm a bit of a masochist) so I'm not looking to 'solve' that particular issue (in my case), at least, not completely. I am, however, contemplating the purchase of a SS device that incorporates a urethral tube so that the ring can be large enough to reduce the discomfort a little (when super aroused) but still prevent 'pull-out'.

If the cage is a snug fit on the flaccid cock, if you start an erection it gently presses on the sides and stops it developing. Provided it fits properly - which is where the custom devices score. I can honestly say I have never had a painful (non) erection with my JailBird, just a gentle restriction for a few minutes. Never the serious pain when locked in a CB6000 or CB3000.

As for an erection being painful, it depends what you are using the device for. If it is for a teasing short-term session then go for the spikes, points etc. If it is long-term, comfort is essential, otherwise you will do some damage.

I messed with my cb last night. I cut it down pretty much the same way as the one in the post in the link. I found a soft piece of foam material that i slid over the ring. What a difference this made. The fit is almost perfect, im about a 1/4" from the end of the cage when im at my absolute smallest and feel zero discomfort at all. The weight and length of it have been reduced and it feels like im not even wearing it, i made it through the night with it on which was not possible before. I woke up to my alarm this morning noticed i had some morning wood lol but without the extra space in the cage it never got a chance to really grow , it just felt tight.

All in all im impressed with the way it feels now, night and day difference. Im scheduled to be able to cum this sunday (1 week the wife set for me ) im going to keep this on untill then and see how it goes. This is pretty much our first time me and the wife doing this, its all very exciting and new. Wife seems to be enjoying it.....she got me to paint her nails last night lol

I was thinking about bon4 being my next device, may I ask you what is wrong with it?

For the first few months, and even now when I travel, I wear a Bon4. Once you get the base ring figured out it can be quite comfortable. However, because the base ring is so wide it becomes very uncomfortable when sitting for any length of time...which I have to do on regular basis. Also, the piece of silicone that runs from the tube to the base ring and is attached through the belt tends to "wiggle" a bit and can sometimes catch a bit of skin in death lock requiring an immediate visit to the nearest restroom. This has happened more frequently as the silicone becomes more pliable.

We have since moved to a custom Steelworxx Steelheart and am waiting on Evotion Wearables to develop a completely closed PA cock shaft for travel. Feel free to message me with more questions.

Never had either but, the big complaints on the silicone version is the pinching. The Gritty Woman has a review you may look at, hope it helps.
