Cb 6000 knockoff compatible with real cage?

Post by chunkylover »

Just wondering if anyone has tried mixing parts from a knockoff cb 6000 with the real cb 6000? I bought a cheap one from a online store for 30 bucks. Modified the ring with a vinyl tube, its very comfortable to wear now. But im finding the standard cage dosnt fit well. The 1 3/8" id of the cage is too narrow for me. And the length is too long when im soft. I see on the cb6000 oem site they offer a 3" by 1.45" id cage i would like to try, but im not sure if it will fit the rings on the knockoff. Any help on this would be appreciated

Not sure how the pins on the fake's are, but the real CB6K has an oval center hole for the pins. If the fake's pins are round you'd have to drill the real.

Yes the one i have has the oval center pin as well. The outside pins are round. Mine looks exactly like the real cb 6000 im just worried that the spacing on the 2 outside pins may be off.

The measurements I get are;
(I measured from the center of the pins)
22mm center pin to side pin
39mm side pin to side pin

I used metric because I could get a more accurate reading. Hope this helps.
