Concern I have switching to a MM Jailbird

Post by chaste_denied »

Hello,

My soon to be wife and KH and I have been doing male chastity for nearly a year. It's progressed to a long term thing and she's been getting more and more bold lately and I LOVE it! My last orgasm was June 22nd and even though we're getting married in just over a couple of weeks she's made it pretty clear that I'll probably be locked while at the altar and even afterward, an orgasm isn't in the near future for me. I'm very lucky! :)

Anyway, I've been using a CB6000S this whole time and, while I get used to it after a while, anyone who's worn one long term knows that they're bulky and require a certain amount of additional effort when caged for any length of time. We've talked about getting me a different cage that works for more long term chastity and I really like the Mature Metal Jailbird so that's where I'm leaning.

Now, we all know the CB-X rings essentially come apart. I'm currently using the one sized right in the middle and it seems to work (although I've thought of experimenting with the next down since I like it "high and tight". As an experiment, the last time I was allowed out for cleaning, I removed the cage while keeping the entire ring intact - No problem!

However, when I went to put it back on with the ring intact it wasn't gonna happen. I wasn't hard at all, but getting the entire package through there seemed impossible (at least, not without a fair amount of pain).

Is there a trick I don't know about? I really would love to go with a metal cage, but I don't want to spend the money if I can't even get the thing on after all that waiting..

Any advice you all have would be great. Thanks in advance!

Getting a steel base ring on is easiest when completely flaccid but can be done with a little chubby. You start with one ball, pop it through and then pull the skin through and then put the other ball through. Once you've yanked those boys down and in you push the flaccid penis under the ring and pull him through.

I'm not sure how easy that would be wth the cb ring and you might be better off ordering the sizing rings from Mature Metal.

Good luck.

1. The thickness and texture of the CB6000 base ring probably makes it tougher than the slimmer/slicker steel ring of the JB.
2. I was skeptical of my ability to get into what turned out to be the right size. Biggest takeaway from figuring out how to make that work: pull some scrotum through first, then testicle....otherwise, youch.
3. The sizing rings helped me narrow down the base ring size. I was pretty anxious about screwing up the specs, so I purchased a few second hand JBs to get a good approximation on diameter and length.

I was trying the method you described Lady M, but it just wasn't happening.

I think what Marcus mentioned about the thickness and texture of the CB-X base ring makes a big difference. Part of what I like so much about the steel cages is the thinner base ring so I'm going to invest in the sizing rings and see how that goes.

Thanks so much for the advice! It's nice to be able to come to experienced folks for this sort of thing. :)

I was timid in using a small solid ring when I got my Jailbird. Then I remembered that my testicles were slipping out through a 3/8 gap so they certainly should fit through a much larger opening in the ring. It is really easy. Pull skin through to get one testical in and then take up the slack skin and push the other one through. It does not hurt and it is amazing how squished they can get without pain. The trick is to keep pulling your scrotum skin trough as much as possible and then put your and behind one testicle and just push it through the ring from behind. The first one should be very easy. For the second you need to pull all the loose skin through and then push the ring so that the testicle already through the ring is sort of hanging over the ring and taking up as little space as possible. It is suggested that you do not put your penis through the ring until your testicles are in first but when you are small like me, it makes no difference.

I know this sounds complicated but I can put my ring on in about 30-45 seconds. Much, much easier than putting the CB6000 on and without the pinching and getting hairs caught. I now prefer solid rings. No seems and metal is slicker than plastic so much less lube is needed.

Funny that your concern is the same as mine was. In the past I could not get cock rings on because I was afraid to push my testicles through the ring. Now it is a snap to do and I am very comfortable in my Jailbird to the point that I do not want to take it off. I remove the cage and wash my penis with a washcloth and then lock up again before I get into the shower. It never smells like my CB did. If I was circumcised I might not have to even remove the cage for cleaning.

Here's a tip for ya. Go to your local hardware store or Home Depot/Lowe's and purchase a couple welded metal rings with a similar size to your CB rings. Cheap way to find out if you will be able to "pop" everything through.
Happily secured since 4/2010 :-)

Once both testicles are thru, I put some lube on my penis to help it slide easily thru the ring.

I started with a CB and moved to a metal device. Putting on a fully assembled CB ring is not a good comparison to a metal ring. Use a plastic sizing ring matching your CB ring size, I am pretty certain you will be able to get that on with far greater ease. It should make you feel a lot more comfortable with the prospects.

I had similar concerns about the solid ring / Jail Bird after having used the CB devices. I now LOVE the Jail Bird and have since bought a Watchful Mistress. Steel is the way to go, and I have really enjoyed doing business with Mature Metal. They are wonderful people!
