First experience, can use some opinions please

New to this forum, and new to chastity. A little background about my questions.
First, I looked at many devices. I need a very large A ring. No, not bragging...I'm not well hung, it's just the way things are arranged down there. Definitely a "grower". Using the Holy Trainer measuring method, I needed like an 80mm ring. No one had more than 50mm, or two inches. CB-X now sells a 2 1/8 and 2 1/4 ring as separate parts, I ordered the 2 1/4. Then I ordered all the spare parts to make a complete The Curve, and saved over buying the complete device with 4 rings I'll never be able to use. Lubed up, I can get into it and then it's very comfortable. I've been told my balls are huge, so any device without the split ring would never work.
I ordered The Curve cage because of the extra width. Soft I'm about 1 1/2 diameter, but I'm nowhere near long enough to fill it up. The problem is when I start to get an erection, I get thick enough to jam in the cage at the beginning, rather than filling it up. This tries to push the cage away from my body, it's painful. I'm thinking about getting the CB-6000 cage, with it's less severe downward curve. Plus it looks ridiculous having so much unfilled cage.
Any input here? Thank you.

I know the problem. First off the Holy Trainer is not a round ring and is much wider than tall so it is not the best to judge by. I made that mistake when I went with a custom ring and it did not work out. After spending over $500 trying to find a ring/cage combination that fit and did not give me the same problem you have, I ended up buying a Jailbird from Mature Metal. Customs device is the only way to go if you want a device to fit you like a glove. I needed a large ring and short cage and now my flaccid penis just touches the sides and front of the cage part and the ring is not tight but not loose enough to come off. I wear it all the time because it is very comfortable.

Keep in mind that no matter the length of the cage, as soon as you grow you are going to end up pulling the device away from your body. I still have that problem and my wife takes advantage of it by making me wear the cage while she is teasing me. If you do not want that to happen, you will need a cage longer and wider than you when you are full erect but then you will be flopping around in your cage which has its own set of problems as well as being much harder to conceal under clothes. Just do not get erect or try not to. If I start watching porn and getting erect a few times, I pay for it later because the ring has pressed into my big balls so much that they are sore.

FYI - despite big balls, you can easily get them into a solid ring. You will be surprised how much they can compress. After seeing them come out from a CB6000 between the cage and ring, about 1/4", I knew that I could fit them through a 2" ring with no problem. I just push one in and then push the other. No pain and they squash down a lot. It would have been cheaper if I went Custom device sooner than later but every time I try to save some money by not getting what is best for me, I end up spending more.

As a huge nerd, I read everything I could find as far as getting a proper fit. As a mechanic, I grabbed a few hydraulic O rings from work, to see which ring would fit. Not much stretch in buna n O rings, there's no way I could have gotten the 2 inch solid ring on. The 2 1/4 CB-X ring barely passes the finger-to-the-first-knuckle test. Again, I'm not well hung, I'm just large stature and the boys are high and tight.
I'm wondering about the CB-6000 cage, which looks like the length will be good. But..the ID is only 1.375, compared to the CB 3000 which is 1.45. Both are compatible with the ring I have, but as a nerd I wonder why they made the 6000 if the 3000 was so good. I hope to not drop $70 on another tube that doesn't fit.
With The Curve, I barely fit in it soft, width wise. As soon as I start to get hard, it's like a cork in a wine bottle. I feel if I expanded to fill the tube it would be much better.
I took The Curve out for a test walk today, to the hardware store. Not bad, I could hear the lock clanking a bit. I wonder if the cute cashier knew the tiny lock I bought last week is now keeping my long distance keyholder happy. I'm using the shortest pin and spacer, no real chafing issues. This was after 30 minutes or so, otherwise I've only been wearing it around the house. My keyholder demands a picture and notification when I put it on, she teased me before I went out to ensure maximum discomfort. She's 1300 miles away, so yes, I keep a spare key with me.

When I had my misadventure with the Curve I had a similar problem. The plastic is very sticky with skin.

What helped for me was to put some silicone lube on a Q-Tip and work it around the shaft. You may have to do this after each time you clean. If you get graced to have the cage off, apply a little before putting it on.
With silicone lube remember, a little goes a long way. If you haven't used it before use less than you think you need, you can always apply more.

If you have girth issues I don't think the cb6k tube would work. We had the issue of "off the shelf" sizing not working at all. The chastity cage will pull away a little with attempted erection but with the proper fit (sounds like you need a very short wider diameter cage) it will pull out from the body much less. It seems like spending the money in a custom device would be more worth it than spending more money on tubes that won't fit.
