Using condoms with bencocaine lubricant to keep from cuming

My wife wanted PIV without me getting to cum. We tried some condoms with bencocaine (5%) from Durex (Performax Intense). Within a short time my penis was getting quite numb (but not entirely so), though at the base I could feel every thrust. As the result, I could keep from cuming much easier than otherwise and we could go on much longer for her pleasure.

Concerning her pleasure - maybe we will add another "normal" condom next time, because my wife felt a little numb down there too (not really what she wanted ) - maybe a little bit of the lubricant got to the outside of the condom.

I have used Orajel (the mouth gel stuff) for some numbing before. I applied it to his penis,on the most sensitive spot, let it sit there until he said it was numb, then I wiped it off with a wipe, so I wouldn't suffer the effects of it. It didn't keep him from feeling everything entirely, however, it did help take away some of the feeling.

What we do have that takes away 99% of the feeling is a sleeve. It goes over his penis, and stays on with suction. It helps keep him hard, but he doesn't receive pleasure from it.

A short search shows that Orajel gel is also based on becocaine, just with a higher dosage (20%). It's not sold in my country, but there's probably a similar product available.

Sounds nice. My wife wanted to feel "the real thing" again though, so the sleeve would probably be too plastic/artificial for her.

EMLA cream works really well and soaks in over about 15 minutes so you dont even need a condom !!

We also have the same Durex condoms and have tried using a spray 'Shibari Triton Men's Desensitizing Spray, with Maximum Lidocaine'. Have used separately and together with little effect.

I even tried, spray (wait 5-10 minutes) and two Durex condoms and I still achieved and orgasm.

Yeah - the condom with bencocaine would not stop me from being able to cum (so the title of the thread is kind of misleading, sorry). It's only the penis that get's kind of numb locally, but the brain is still full functional and of course very active while having sex. If it's getting too much and I'm getting closer, I will try to think something non erotic. Most of the time, this really helps, otherwise we're going slower for some time.

Thanks for mentioning that. Numbing agents are to be taken seriously as they can influence the rhythm of the heart or amplify the effect of other medicine (for example beta-blockers => blood pressue could get too low). Always play safe and if you're in doubt about it, better don't do it!
