Steelworxx Steelheart vs HT V2 Short

Hi All,
I'm looking to upgrade from my current Holy Trainer V2 Short to a steel device. I prefer a completely enclosed device so I won't be looking at anything like the Jailbird or similar but instead I'm interested in the Steelworxx Steelheart.

I currently own both the regular and short version of the Holy Trainer, as well as both the 40mm and 36mm basering. I find the combination of short tube and 40mm ring to be the right size for me personally.

The areas that I would appreciate anyones input would be concerning sizing, hygiene, concealment, etc...

I would like to size the Steelheart to be approximately the same size as my HT Short as this provides me the best combination of comfort and restriction, as well as being small enough to not be obvious to the outside world. I would also most likely want to go with the integrated lock feature as opposed to the padlock. The HT has this feature and I really like it.

Because I would most likely be wearing this new device only part time at first, hygiene might not be a top priority but I would still like to hear any advice.

Also, I realize that there will be a weight difference when going with steel, but has anyone found this to be an issue?

The Steelworxx Steelheart is a beautiful device which feels very constraining.
It's a head trip not being able to even see what's inside.
My cage has a 65mm length and 32mm diameter, and a 38 mm base ring.
I find I like the more open designs, and I don't wear it anymore. I didn't find the weight to be an issue. I think that depends on fit, though. The weight felt good. Actually I find the HT too light for my tastes.
The slight help of steel is an asset in my opinion. The shape of the tube makes for natural lines under pants. Hygiene is an issue for me for both devices.

What size are you thinking about given your experience in the HT?

As far as the size it's hard to say given that the lenght of the HT is measured differently than the Steelheart. My understanding is that the Steelheart is measured from the back of the base ring to the tip of the tube when assembled, and on the curve of the device. I would have to try and measure my HT the same way to see what I get.

The HT I'm using today supposedly has an inside diameter of 34mm and my standard tube is 35mm. I orefer the smaller ID so something in the 34mm range would work.

Right now I wear a 40mm base ring which is very comfortable, and I have a 36mm base ring which I can wear but can become a little too tight over time, so most likely a 38 to 40mm base ring would work best. These are anatomical rings so I'm not sure if that would change anything or not.

I use to wear a CB6000s comfortably if that helps with sizing, and I could go down to the smallest base ring from what I remember. Although it's been a long time.

I think the weight of the steel would be a positive for me as well, I like the feel of a heavier device.

I also prefer a completely enclosed device that makes seeing and touching my penis impossible. I've always had enclosed devices so that's what I prefer. My current HT tube is black so I can't see it either.

Hygiene shouldn't be too much of an issue since I don't plan on wearing it 24/7. I have worn my current for up to two weeks and have been able to keep it pretty clean.

I just went and measured my HT2 Short and tried to do it the same way that they measure for the Steelheart, thru the center of the tube on a curve to the back side of the base ring, and I got a measurement of 70 - 72mm. When the whole assembly is sitting on the base ring I get a straight vertical measurement of approx 65mm.

I haven't measured my Standard Tube set-up yet.

Thanks, that's helpful. I will definately get the short version, though I might even like a shorter, but it's not far off from my Looker 02 before it got modified.

The HT would be supposed to be used alternatively if needed (would have been nice right now, because my Looker 02 is just being modified - and maybe it's just nice to have a different way to stay chaste).
