Perineal raphe getting cut all the time.

Just wondering if anyone else has had this problem.

I was wearing a A085 device when i got my first cut after 5 days continuous wear (No play or unlocking)
so I was allowed to remove my device for healing.

Then I used a Skin safe Silicone putty to cover the ring area where they join (Soft but blue coloured when mixed & set 1 1hr)

Then 5 days later it happened again...a cut in the same spot.

Now i do have a for better words an UPGRADE and A086 solid round ring device (waiting on a smaller ring in post) but im not sure if i will have the same problem with that one as i cant wear that new device with the ring too big for a real test.

A custom device is not a option as its not in the budget.

I would imagine that you're getting pinched, or rubbed somewhere wrong, and that's why you keep getting cut.

I think you should try getting a device where the bars are vertical on your penis, instead of horizontal. There are a few styles on ebay that are still really cheap. I would also suggest one that has a solid ring, instead of hinged, as the hinged styles often pinch.

The current device we use has a hinge but it doesn't affect me as it has a full cover of bio safe tubing around it.
The problem is where i have the blue Bio safe rubber...Before the rubber it cut me probably due to the design of the cage after 5 days so i healed and tried again and i added the rubber and all was well until day 5 and again i was cut.

We do have another device with a solid ring and is Similar to my current device but the ring was too big so we have a smaller ring in the post.

It also could be the outer Diameter of the current device ring as the hinged ones are more flat than a solid round ring so time and experimentation will tell.

I found your post while searching after my first perineal raphe cut, at the shaft base.
Don't know if it will happen again to me, but I'd like to know if you have solved the issue?

I've yet to find a ready-made device that doesn't cause injury sooner or later - that's why we went to making our own devices. My "tube" is just that - a plain white PVC plastic tube, smoothed on the inside with a Dremel tool, and that did away with any issues of pinching or harsh rubbing anywhere.
