Proper cleaning of a HT 2

Does anyone know if there is a "tried and true" method to properly clean a Holy Trainer?

I've tried a few methods including squirting a little soap in there in the shower and then trying to rinse it out thoroughly, and do the cup full of soapy water and then stick it in there an slosh it around...rinsing afterwards.

I would like to be locked for some extended periods but am concerned both about hygiene in general and being sure to get all the soap completely out.

Having used one for some time i would say you can't clean either the HT2 or yourself satisfactorily without removing one from the other !! This is the main reason MsM purchased a Contender S/S cage that CAN be kept clean without removal.

I can wholeheartedly confirm what slave d says.
For me this is the only mayor drawback of the HT2.

I agree, that's probably the biggest drawback. I love it other wise.

Right now during the week I try to clean it as well as I can in the shower, and take a cup of soapy water and stick it in and slosh it around, then I do my best to rinse it thoroughly. This will probably work until I can take it off for a thorough cleaning. Probably once a week.

This works for me since I'm ot really doing the "long term" wear without any breaks, but when and if that day comes I'm sure I'll have to switch to a jailbird or something.
