Question about devices

I have a question about devices.

Currently I'm using an extremely shitty silicone chastity device. I'm trying to upgrade to a slightly less shitty one. We can't afford a nice one.

(Background: as I posted a while ago, I'm a millenial who's been been unemployed basically since college and my wife is keeping me locked up until I find a job. We don't have a lot of money, so inexpensive devices are kind of key here. Feel free to ask about that, I won't consider it offtopic.)

The two I'm currently looking at are this "bowl" device, which I'd like a name for if there is one:

I know that the DHgate stuff is low quality and that we can get burned buying crap from them. I'm gravitating towards the latter one, and if you guys know who actually makes it, I'd appreciate the knowledge.

i purchased 2 different stainless steel ones from dhgate and the quality was pretty darn good for the price to be honest, wore them up until i could get the measurements sorted to buy custom contender. i would suggest S/S as much better than amything else if you can get within reason measurement wise. Both the ones i got were cheaper than the plastic ones you're showing there i think. Biggest issue for us in NZ is dhgate can take months to deliver. If you do go S/S just make sure the add states it IS S/S and not plated !!

I agree with slave d. Look around for an inexpensive stainless steel device. Most likely off-the-shelf you may not be able to find an exact fit, but maybe close.

Read the reviews at Amazon. Some sellers are claiming SS but the reviewers are saying their not.

The important things are; measure length and width while flaccid, and the base ring size. Try to get as close as possible to these three. If you need to compromise, I would say the base ring is the most important. Next is to get the length as close as possible.

I think steel is the way to go. I've not found a silicone device that really works for me. In terms of saving money, stick with DHGate.com. All the devices on Amazon are resellers of the same stuff on DHGate. In exchange for a much faster ship time, the Amazon sellers charge a premium.
