I have a question and would like some input and opinions on something that may have been previously discussed but i have not searched for....When is the act of chastity considered chastity? By this i mean does it start the moment the lock clicks shut and end once the device is off? Or is it something more of a state of mind and understanding between the couple? I ask because the timer on my app says two weeks and six days which is true ~if~ being let out and accidentally not controlling myself and cumming after the first six days would still count. I feel like it would start all over and be only two weeks. Does that make sense or am i over thinking?

This is something I would say is unique to each situation and what the couple decided. My husband is always "In chastity" because he wears his device daily sho we don't have periods of chastity anymore but we may have periods of no device instead (for a day etc). For us chastity and orgasm denial are two different things.

However for a couple that uses the device as play then I would your period of chastity would be from lock up to unlock. If the chastity is used with orgasm denial then I would go with lock up to orgasm.

Does that make sense?

As Lady M stated it's what each couple decides. For us, chastity is continuous, whether the cage is on or off. I no longer have a say when I will orgasm as I could before chastity. By LRC deciding this I am remaining chaste to her.

The release of seminal fluids by any manner determines the time between the release only, not the duration of chastity. For me, I've been in chastity for over 15 years; I've had many seminal fluid releases during that time though. I don't say orgasm because not all fluid releases involve one.

I have been locked up almost continuously for the lat 12 months and have had about 8 orgasms soon to be reduced to about 2 or 3 a year if my wife feels like I can do that without any physical and mental problems. Since we have a chastity lifestyle it is always chastity to us. However, I do not feel the physical need for an orgasm until 2-3 weeks have passed. While chastity is an all time thing for me, I do not experience the effects of orgasm denial until I have gone 2-3 weeks without one.

For us it is definitely a session thing. We might go as long as three months and then have a break. In the period I will be released for a variety of reasons such as surfing or where the device gets in the way unnecessarily.
I don't get any orgasms in this time and I only very rarely get teased without the device. Her thought is that it is not only orgasm denial it is full erection denial. I think she probably teases me more about how I haven't had a proper erection for 60 days etc.

This is where we have evolved at in our relationship. I guess i haven't looked at it the other way..."periods of no device" that makes perfect sense! And yes we also understand that those are two separate things and OD is becoming more prevalent for us.

I think this was the initial pattern in the beginning of me being locked. She knew that it depended on if she let me out and most times would let me cum anyway, mainly because it was what she wanted.

Does that make sense?

Some people are 'in chastity' without devices, i.e Priests, Monks and so forth. I believe chastity would start the moment you make an agreement with either yourself, or your partner. Device or just will power alone, when you make an agreement, that's when the period will begin.

By the true definition of Chastity then I do, some people practice Chastity in their relationships without devices.

Someone once said that "Chastity begins as soon as you want it to end."

Boy, that's true with me. When the lock is clicked.....it's not a big deal. But wait a while.....a week or so...and I am screaming inside that I want it off. To me, THAT is chastity.
