Holy Trainer vs Jailbird

Hi guys,

Sorry for posting the same old question but I need an answer that's tailored to my concern.

Anyway, my bf and I finally agreed to start chastity play. We're both inexperienced but would like to try anyway. Prior to being with him, I have occasionally indulged in chastity and wore CB6000s although not really consistent in it.

We're starting slow but is considering long term chastity (for me, he's the keyholder). I have personally used CB6000s and liked it but I'm afraid of long term use with it (the longest I have been in it is 7 days). First of all, my penis is a grower, when flaccid it's really small but it can grow really big when erect. Throughout my usage of the cage, my biggest concern is pinching and occasional pulling of hairs. I trim myself from time to time but sometimes when the bush is growing, it gets stuck and it's really painful. Same goes when it's pinching. I'm trying to find a device that minimises this issue so that it'll be comfortable for long term use. Also, my bf is afraid that I might injure myself on bed, I sleep and move a lot while asleep lol so he's afraid that I might cause unnecessary injury to my penis.

We're thinking of either holy trainer or jailbird, we've heard good reviews about both being really good for long term use. Can anyone who's experienced in both give their opinions here (or just anyone lol)? If the device can be less bulgy, it's nice too, I mean I don't want my coworkers to notice my suddenly big crotch.

I'm buying one of those cheap jailbirds on amazon just to test the waters, can't find a cheap holy trainer though.

I ordered a jailbird and then bought a holy trainer V2 since it takes 6-8 weeks for the Jailbird to be made. Quite frankly, I love the Holy Trainer and wear it every day. I remove it every other day for cleaning and that is about the only time I do not wear it. It gets softer with body heat and I find it very comfortable. The build in lock eliminates the bulky padlock although you can get a security screw as an option with the Jailbird.

What I do like and dislike about the Jailbird is that it is open and that is also what is going to cause me problems. My urethra seems to point to the sides or up and down. Rarely straight ahead. In my test with a well made Chinese knockoff, urination was very messy. With the HT it always comes out the front. FYI, the Holy Trainer does not smell so quickly like the CB does plus it only requires 3 parts to lock it up versus many more with the CB. Also no pinching with the HT when putting it on. Much easier and quicker.

Keep in mind that the ring sizes for the HT have little resemblance to their actual sizes. For instance I have two ring sizes that are less than 2". Each ring is 2" on the X axis and nowhere near the stated diameter on the Y axis. The solid rings are ergonomic so the diameter changes depending on where you measure it. I notice that what does change with small ring size differences is the top to bottom with the side to side being the same on both rings. I ordered the same ring size that I used on my CB but I occasionally slipped out so I went down a size and it is much better with no slippage. It is light and much of the time I forget that I am wearing it. Sleeping in it is comfortable for me. YMMV

I agree with Len51. I have been using a Holy Trainer for quite a while now, although not full time, and I love it. It's light, less bulky, and very comfortable.

I use to own a CB6000s and while I liked it, there were too many times when my pubes or skin got pinched or pulled by getting caught between all the various pieces. Not so with a HT.

I also think the penis lies better with the HT than the CB, much lower profile and pointed more downward.

Just an FYI, I use to wear a CB6000s so when I went to the Holy Trainer I picked the short version. Maybe it's just me, but the short was too short for me and would pull the base ring away from my body and the lock mechanism would end up part way down the shaft. While comfort wasn't an issue, the issue was having the bulge of the lock mechanism stick more our in front which made a bump in the front of my pants ( I hope I described that well enough). I then ordered a standard length tube and it sits much better... I'm also a grower too. For the rings, I was using one of the smallest rings on the CB, so I ordered the 40mm ring for the HT. This was a great fit, but over time as my body adjusted I could tell I could go smaller (no issues, just getting looser) so I went with the 36mm ring and it arrived just yesterday. It's the smallest one they offer, so it won't work for everyone, but I like it alot so far. Everything seems to stay in place better, but I'm back to getting woke up with nocturnal erections. No real pain but some burning and discomfort. It doesn't last long, and I know what to expect now. I've found that if I lay on my back it goes away quicker, rather than laying on my stomach.

Anyway, there's my two cents. Or alot more.....
