Question regarding 24/7 wear comfort and advice.

I'm still newish to the Chastity scene. I have a cheap device (like a 20$ knockoff to kind of test the waters, knowing I wouldn't be using THAT as the ultimate judge) but the problem I've seen with it, as a CB 6000 knockoff, was I heated up and sweated in it a bit, making it super uncomfortable. Now while it might be just the knockoff itself, it might be me. I am a very warm person, I've literally been in the same room sweating with friends who are shivering. Another tidbit which might be the case is I had about an inch or so not filling the cage, so I'm thinking of going with a smaller one. I'm torn between choices so my guess is probably going with the smaller sized holy trainer, or something like that. So my Questions, anyone who has experience with these issues please help, are:

1. Does anyone else have any issues with sweating in a cage and what do you do to stop it, id like to not have to remove the device too often for cleaning, if at all. Is this a personal issue cause I heat easily for some reason.
Or will I get used to it eventually?

2. I am into water sports, and as such I wanted to know what devices might be considered knowing I may wet myself, or something similar. Is something like the holy trainer not good if my KH makes me use a diaper (has happened before)

Mostly looking for a nice starter device hopefully under 200$ don't care if its a belt or cage, or whatever as long as it doesn't cause me too much discomfort at work, I do not intend to lose my job over it.

The problem with any enclosed device, plastic or metal, is cleaning inside. With your descriptions I think the answer to both of your questions would be an inexpensive, open, stainless steel device.

Without ordering a custom device you're not going to get a perfect fit. Look around and you will find something that is close to the size you need.

Never heard of penis sweat but why not. My wife feels like an ice box and if she ever feels normal, I think there is something wrong with here. So I guess being too hot all the time is possible too.

I switched to the holy trainer 2. What is interesting about it is that the cage part gets softer, not too soft, as it heats up. This gives it more flex which I like. If I were you, I would get an open cage device like the Jailbird from mature metal. That is what I did. At first I did not want to spend the money but I ended up spending more on a series of chastity cages that just were not exactly right for me. It would have been cheaper if I just bought it from day one.

If you are on a budget go to Amazon.com. There are actually some good Chinese made open cage devices out there for little money. I have one and it is SS and well made for the money. However, the big problem is the hinged ring. It will rub you raw. They give you a small piece of rubber tubing to cover it but then you end up being rubbed raw by the two ends of the tubing. I have spent about $500 before I ordered the Jailbird. Could have saved a lot if I had ordered it at the begining.

I have experience only with the CB6000 and the Jailbird by maturemetal.com.
Though the CB can be used 24/7/365 and be kept clean in the process, IG is difficult to do. I also felt like I needed to wash it in the shower after each urination.

The Jailbird I'd easy to clean. You just need dome shampo to clean it. I find I still need yo apply daily petroleum jelly for lubrication for comfort but it's do bad even without lubrication.
As for waterworks, some people can aim with the Jailbird but I cannot. I still need to sit to pee. But I suppose your Keyholder could unlock you for waterworks or did you have something else in mind?

I agree that the custom cage will end up cheaper in the end. Even people who have the JB sometimes don't send it back for adjustments. It is extremely rare that even a custom device will be a perfect fit from the start. I noticed that Happily caged lubes the JB. That is generally a sign the base ring is too small. For $20 MM will resize the ring. So far I have sent mine back three times: Once to get the cage shortened and twice to change the base ring size. On the first trip I went from 1 3/4 to 1 5/8. That ended up irritating me. Now it is back to go from 1 5/8 to 1 11/16. The 1 3/4" ring works, but to me it doesn't hold things in place as well as I want. The 1 5/8 did that job bu made me red and pinched. I'm hoping the 1/16" increase will do the trick.

As for the lube, it's not too small at all but the lube makes it slide more comfortably when it moves due to an erection or other. Lube or no lube makes only a small difference but seems more comfortable. Unless it's just a habit I'd picked up from the CB? It seems more comfy anyway.

As for peeing standing, I didn't have the time yet to do that and now won't be able to
for at least three months if not six, but you are right on that front.

Right now I am wearing a wet diaper and my Holy Trainer V2

I have been wearing it since Dec 30th 24/7. I wear diapers most nights to bed. and sometimes all day on days off. No problems for me.

It is very comfortable. Very minimal problems. There will be occasional discomfort in any device. It is afterall something unnatural affixed to your ever changing sized dick.
