Cages and pressure on the testicles

Do all cages put pressure on the testicles, so they feel firm? My wife likes to fondle and hold my testicles when we are falling asleep (a great thing!) but only when they are soft. She doesn’t like cages because of the way of they make my testicles feel (hard) to her. Are there any cages or cage types that allow enough room or gap so the testicles remain relatively soft but still not allow escape?

I'm pretty sure that that is a standard feature of cages, that's pretty much what they need to do work.

Have you tried a waistband to pull the cage up and ease the pressure on your testicles a little?

No. Not all cages and not necessarily the same cage in a different person.
My balls generally hang loose when I am warm. Tight when cold.
The cage doesn't slide down when my balls hang.
A wider ring can help with this.

I've been using the resin cages that are all over amazon/ebay/ali that come with curved rings that conform to your body a bit. It tends to give more space towards the bottom of the ring. If I'm very aroused my balls can become tight, but generally they are loose enough that this isn't a problem in day to day use
