Metal cage between Amazon Chinese knockoff and MMJB?

Hey all,

I've been rocking a cheap Amazon metal cage for a while. The wife wants to upgrade to another metal cage, but better quality. That being said, something as expensive as the MM JB is just not feasible. What would be a good option around the $75 to $125 range for a metal upgrade?

I should add that they are not knock offs, but similar-ish designs that are inexpensive and practical.

I was also looking for a cheaper altenative to MMJB and the closest option I found is this cage.
I have some doubts as only three ring sizes are available, not to mention that the cage dimensions are not very precisely given. I am wondering about possible rust on the wires, but anyway - if anyone is using this cage - your opinion would be very precious.

I tried that one. The cage itself is large, and those wire cables felt very uncomfortable on my soft bits.

I have found the Happygo cages, available from AliExpress,(NFI) and others, to have excellent build quality, which appears similar to custom cages, although the bars may be of different diameter. Cost perhaps $25. Base ring diameter can be reduced a few mm., by use of foamed-backed adhesive tape.

second vote for the A271 it was very close. I wore that for a while but I always got ball chafe after a week

Turns out when I got a MMJB it was because my cage to base ring gap needed to be a lot larger than standard. Now everything is peachy.

I like this style of cage, but my wife hates the sharp exposed part of the lock which scratches her when we spoon. Any tips on covering that part or is rounding the edges of the lock with a Dremel the only option.

My wife is similarly sensitive. I file/Dremel the edges on everything, locks included.
