whats a scrotum bar?

Hi Guys.

Im just looking at another bespoke cage on etsy.

Im having the tube. not having the ball seperator, but no idea about the scrotum bar because i have no idea what it achieves?

any idea if the scrotum bar is helful for low hanging balls?

Looks like it just helps to attach the separator to the cuff ring or cage. It probably just presses against the skin.
