another design option
Not sure if this would be practical, but throwing the idea out for CD manufacturers to consider -- give a "dress" right or left option. Maybe centered conflicts too much with the inseam. Just an idea.

I've been wondering about this myself. I dress to the left and having to get used to a straight-down-the-line cd inevitably leads to rubbing of the seam. I'm also uncut so the corona is v sensitive. A combination that leads to a certain level of discomfort. Some with say that is the point. Perhaps...

I don't know how tight y'all wear your pants, but it usually doesn't become an issue for me until I sit down, then a quick, discrete flick puts it where it needs to be. I'm not sure that you could even design something that would automatically favor one side or the other in a reliable manner.
