Holy Trainer, Itching, skin issues... nastiness

I take my ht off every night, shower in the morning with the device and at night i take the device of, wash my penis with soap. i had itchiness since a while but now my skin is completely bruised all over my penis. It hurts and the skin is coming off. Here in Chile it is summer and it is warm, I do sports with my HT. My fear is that it is the sweat that never dries. I think i am done with this device. wanted to take it on my business trip but probably will go deviceless - let's see if i can stay good.

Anybody has similar experiences with the Holy Trainer?

so my wife thinks it is due to soap i did not wash of correctly. i told her that one day there was some smell that i noticed while in the office so all i did was rub some soap in... Didn't really think that would cause a reaction (stupid me) So there is a possibility she is right...

That sounds more likely but I would dry the tube with a hairdryer briefly after a shower. I wear mine for a minimum of four days at a time and just had a nine day period of lockup with almost no issues. I do gym work, exercise, walk the dog and all the other daily activities wearing mine with no issues.

One change I have made to my lifestyle is drinking 8 glasses of water a day. It dilutes my pee to the point that there is no build up of any smell.

A very good possibility. There's a post here somewhere where I detailed my experience with some shampoo, which did not get washed off before it dried. The result was extreme drying of the skin, which turned hard and 'shell-like'. Eventually it all cracked and peeled. It was somewhat painful, especially during attempted erections (I was quite a young lad at the time, so these were frequent occurrences), but also rather interesting. Of course, for a while there I was kind of scared that I had ruined it...

thanks for the tips @Jasmic68 - good to read that 4 days is no issue...
When you take it off - is it not all damp in there? For me it usually is... (but that is definitely sweat - mind you here is summer)

Mystery solved, THANK you. You know you start wondering if it is some sort of fungus and yes you do get a tad worried - also because you are 90% sure its just dry skin. Also painful at times like you mention.
