? On MM device sizing
I have read several post and topics on this matter and my main question is on cage length. MM reqends taking a 1/4" off final measurement but some say that causes ball pain when attempting to become hard. I had this problem when I first started with 3000 but due to it being to long I'm going to order shorter I would like to not have to go threw that pain again. Any poisons would be greatly appreciated
Re: ? On MM device sizing
Fair warning: I don't have a MM device (though I have been doing a bit of research on them/devices) so take this with a grain salt...
I believe the reason they say to take off that 1/4th" is the gap between ring and cage. You want the cage to be secure and you to not have too much free room after all. If say you get a measurement of 2" from base to tip for cage length, and then you add on the 1/4" gap you're at 2.25" all of a sudden.
Now that said, I could see how not having "room to grow" could push the cage/ring out and cause pain. I think that this is largely going to be on an individual basis and how much a "grower" vs "shower" you are. It could very well also be that they just mis-measured somewhere else and that's causing the issue.
One thing that I know I've read on here is that a lot of people find it easier to have a more restrictive cage that catches them well before they get fully hard. (From my understanding) Supposedly this helps them NOT to get fully hard, and so they don't have that pull which may cause that.
Also, how long did you wear your CB3k? I think that when I started wearing my 6k longer term I had the same problem, but it went away over time. I mean lets face it, you're not exactly doing something natural by putting a device around your penis. That takes some getting used to and you/your body learn things as you go along.

Re: ? On MM device sizing
I have to say that I took MM advice and then some. Instead of 1/4" shorter I decided to go 1/2" shorter and I'm very happy I did. For me, 80% of my time flaccid I am about 1/4" from the end bars of my JB. I love that I catch the erection before it happens and it doesn't create any painful effects on my balls.

Locked4her55: how many measurements did you take before settling on the size to order. What I plan on doing is asking to be let out for a few days and come often and measure 3-4 times a day for 3 days and then take the average. Or is there a better way

I'm a bit confussed to why you would want to do this?
"What I plan on doing is asking to be let out for a few days and come often and measure 3-4 times a day for 3 days."
Are you really planning on coming often to get your size correct?
I used my many month in both a CB3000 and CB6000s to gauge my size. I was very comfortable in the CB6000s and MM told me they would make my JB cage the same except for the 1/2" off in length I mentioned before. The base ring took a few adjustments over several months to get it just right. We knew there would be some issues going from a wider plastic CB style ring to the narrower SS rings. I now switch between a 46mm single ring and a 47mm double ring. I also had William spread the front horizontal bars just a bit which has made all the difference when it comes to being able to pee standing up.
If indeed you will be swing’ in free for a couple of days then take several measurements while flaccid. You want that measurement to be when you are in a very comfortable, normal stage. Many have said here that they had wished they had gone a bit smaller but a few have stated that they went too small especially with regards to the diameter.
If you have experience with being in a CB3000 then email MM and tell them how it fit you. They know their stuff and have made great recommendations too many. Good luck.

We followed the MM directions to the letter, and it's been great, perfect fit for Jay. Well, he hasn't complained anyway, and it hasn't ever fallen off ( the CB6k did fall off, twice).
