Metal Base Ring Fit

Post by Locked by LRC »

I am thinking about getting a metal device but have questions I hope someone can help me with.
First I’ll describe what the cause of my problem is. When I was younger I was playing Lacrosse and took a stick to the crotch. After a couple of weeks of soreness I felt fine. But since, the one that took the stick has been larger than the other.
When I was using the CB2000 I was using the 1 7/8” solid ring. This was a tight fit to get through and if orgasm had been a while I would need the 2” ring. The problem was that the device was always drooping down. When I went to the CB3000 & 6000 with the hinged rings, I was able to wear the 1 ¾” ring. This kept everything tighter and the device wasn’t drooping down.
My concern with the metal is being able to get my testicles through the base ring and have a good fit. When I used the solid rings I would put the large one through first then the smaller and had no problem getting my penis through. If I put the small testicle through first I couldn’t get the other through at all.
I also understand that ovals can be ordered. Does anyone have experience with these? If they do and have used round rings, do the testicles go through easier? Is the oval only for wear comfort?

MM also makes a multipart ring like the one of the CB6000, if you ask for it.

Gerecke in Germany (caution: VERY expensive compared to MM) has the option of a hinged basering.

My right nut is larger than the left. Not a lot but a bit. It also hangs a little higher. This hasn't been a problem for me with getting the rings on. I always put the right (larger) nut through first, then the left, then the penis. For most guys it seems this is the easiest way to do it. Obviously you have to be completely flaccid for this to work, be patient. If you do it this way the size of your nuts shouldn't be a problem.

If anyone has tried this, another question. Do they have the same problem with the irritation around the pivot area? This was my problem with the CB3000. Where the rivet was seemed to get tender.

The CB6000 has all its connections on the top part (no pivot), so the part that goes around the scrotum is smooth.
I assume it is the same with the MM multipart ring.
I have noticed that my cheap sentinel copy, which has a very massive hinged ring, tends to cause soreness on the base of the scrotum.
The Desire we plan to order in the long run has a rather unobtrusive (is that the right word?) hinge that is also covered with a heat shrink tube.
