Working from home has been useful but being so busy with work has meant I've been unable to avoid going into the office sometimes. I've tried to be home as much as possible though and it's been a great help.Tongue+groove wrote: ↑Mon Jun 23, 2025 6:58 pm Love her and tend to her and hopefully she will allow you to take her.
Miss Emmie settles for sleep every night with me cuddled up against her, holding her, spooning usually. Sometimes she likes me to turn away so that she can wrap herself around me instead. A goodnight kiss but she's not felt like anything more intimate, not even the stroke of a nipple, so I've just held on to her, or let her hold on to me, until she drifts off. We have a similar kiss and cuddle when we wake, before and after I make the morning coffee. I don't get, and neither do I expect, any more attention.
It's good to see that she's getting back to good health again. This bug, whatever it was, has knocked her sideways. Hopefully the holiday will give her the chance to recover. Apart from enjoying the cottage, open countryside, fresh air, and sea views, we have no need to do anything else. My best guess is that I'll remain wearing the Cobra throughout, which is fine.
