@lockedcock - That's an excellent idea! My wife recently told me that she's not a big fan of my 6Ga PA ring and asked if I could get a curved barbell again. Until now I wasn't sure of how to make it work with the PA fixing in my Steelheart.
Another option might be to use a curved barbell with a captive bead ring on one end to which you could connect the 'lasso'. I had one like the one below a while back. I found several for sale on the internet but they were, for the most part, poorly made and not available in any size or gauge variation. I ended up getting one custom made by the folks at http://www.bodycircle.com.

My nipple rings came from Tribalectic. Nice folks, I enjoyed doing business with them. Delivery was a little slow but once they rings arrived, they were perfect, so I am not really complaining.
I had one of those doodads after I was first pierced. The only issue I see is that it's going to line up such that the ring will be parallel with the PA fixing (at least the kind I have) instead of opposite it. The PA fixing won't go through the ring that way.

I don't recall the size that I got but it was an excellent piece of jewelry. One thing to keep in mind is that when you screw the ring part into the barbell part, the ring may or may not end up exactly perpendicular to the barbell. Bodycircle did a good job of getting the thread depth very nearly perfect. But due to the tolerances involved it's tricky. To their credit, bodycircle warned me ahead of time that this might be the case.
mmmhh... my Steelheart should arrive last week. But it didnt. So I asked Dietmar yesterday morning when it will be send out... short answer: this week.
Today its Wednesday... I hope it will arrive in the next days. Dietmar told me, that he is on vacation from 24th till the 31th.
