My first thought was of scratched paintwork but it is very appropriate but to me sounds odd in use; I've toyed with 'lock' as it's short and obvious (perhaps too literal for me).

I'm just seeding the ground here. What gets picked up and used isn't important to me as long as I'm not pissing anyone off by keeping on doing it. On that note:

Which advocates the use of 'Chastify' as the word to describe the act of being locked in a device and recently I read the term 'KH and chastee' which seemed to go together well.

Thrall is another word that has my attention at the moment. It's a bit slavish for most here but lightens up when one becomes enthralled as I'm sure many of us are to our Keyholders.
